Maketh Tua
Minister Maketh Tua was a fictional character in the television series Star Wars Rebels. She was a native of the planet Lothal, but educated off-world. She served as a diplomat between the Rebellion and the Galactic Empire. The plot of Star Wars Rebels revolved around the conflict between the two worlds, and her role in the plot was central to the series’ reimagining of the war in the galaxy.
Unlike most of her counterparts, Tua was extremely self-absorbed, but was ultimately a sympathetic character. In addition to her political ambition, she was also sympathetic to the common people in Lothal. She introduced government-sponsored housing, threw an Empire Day celebration, and assured the people that their Empire was important. While Maketh Tua sometimes seemed cold and unfeeling, she was loyal to the Empire and the Republic and was a frequent enemy of the Spectres.
Senator Bail Organa
The Senate of Alderaan would be a powerful place for a devoted justice-seeker such as Senator Bail Organa. The member of the Alderaan royal family served as the planet’s senator and garnered respect for his honesty and commitment to justice. In addition, he served in the Loyalist Committee alongside Senator Padmé Amidala. This article will introduce the history of this character and discuss his role in the story.
As the Republic falls apart, Bail begins his clandestine operations against the Empire. He helps planets in need, intercepting secure Imperial messages and sending rebel cells to aid the oppressed. He also recruits the crew of the Tantive IV and Captain Raymus Antilles to rebel against the Empire. Despite his limited screen time, Bail Organa’s actions in the expanded universe demonstrate just how powerful he was.
Admiral Wilhuff Tarkin
Wilhuff Tarkin was an ambitious military leader who rose quickly through the Imperial ranks after being a favorite of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. Eventually, Tarkin was placed in charge of the construction of the Death Star shortly after the Empire was founded. In the movies, Tarkin became a popular figure, particularly in the context of the Clone Wars. However, his popularity did not last and he was soon demoted and sent to the Rebel Alliance.
Admiral Wilhuff Tarkin is arguably the most recognizable character in the Star Wars franchise. He was a powerful military leader who shaped Imperial doctrine. While he was a general, he refused to accept defeat and died on the Death Star after the Rebels destroyed the station. Tarkin was one of the main villains of the original Star Wars film and a major figure in the storyline of the movie series.
C1-10P
Chopper was a clone trooper in the Clone Wars who served in the platoon of Clone Sergeant Slick. An aggressive soldier, Chopper suffered a scar during a battle droid ambush on Geonosis. He held a grudge against his Separatist adversaries. In the Clone Wars, Chopper helped lead the First Order’s attack on Geonosis.
The third-phase packaging for Chopper simply reads “Chopper,” with his official designation in brackets. He features more realistic grey-lined artwork and a similar look to his Black Series counterpart. This figure also makes an appearance in Rogue One. The back of his packaging is similar to that of other Rebels figures, but it does not mention which material the character was adapted from. The back of the box has a black-and-white illustration of a Rebels ship.
Captain Slavin
In the Star Wars franchise, Captain Slavin is the second in command of Grand Admiral Thrawn. First appearing in “Hera’s Heroes,” he is the nemesis of Hera Syndulla and Cham Syndulla. In the film, he commandeers a Star Destroyer to capture a kyber crystal. However, after the crystal is destroyed by Saw Gerrera, he and his crew die.
In Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, Captain Slavin is one of the few characters who has escaped the Death Star. In the film, Slavin takes up residence in his father’s office and finds a painting of Cham and Hera on the wall of his father’s room. When the Kalikori survive the attack, Slavin explains via hologram that he is in possession of Hera and Ezra. Cham, in turn, steps out of the house to bargain with the Rebels and steals her mother’s artwork to sell.
Onyo
Onyo is a star Wars rebel character. He is one of the most iconic characters in the series, having fought in the final battle to free Lothal and continue to fight for the Rebellion elsewhere. He also portrayed a rogue bounty hunter in the movie Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Onyo’s character design is reminiscent of her original appearance in the film.
The actress Gina Torres has joined the cast of Star Wars Rebels. She is well known for her role as Zoe Washburne in Firefly. She will voice Ketsu Onyo. Ketsu made her Star Wars Rebels debut in “Blood Sisters” where she was introduced as a bounty hunter and an old friend of Sabine Wren.
