What is May 6th for Star Wars Fans?

What is May Sixth for Star Wars Fans? There are many reasons to celebrate the saga, including the release of Revenge of the Fifth. If you’re a fan of the movies, Hyperspace Mountain is a fun place to visit. But there’s more to May Sixth than just cake and Star Wars merchandise. There’s a whole universe of Star Wars lore spanning tens of thousands of years. Some of the best ways to celebrate the holiday include the release of new Star Wars video games, such as the recent Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

Revenge of the Fifth

May 5 is the next day after Star Wars Day and it sounds like the day of the Sith. That’s because it coincides with Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Revenge of the Fifth is a day that honors the Sith Lords of Star Wars. But don’t confuse it with Star Wars Day. This holiday celebrates the Sith Lords of the galaxy, not the Empire.

“May the Fourth” is the holiday that honors the original Star Wars, but May the Fifth is a day dedicated to the prequel trilogy and the Sith villains of the franchise. However, it is also associated with the Jedi and the words “May the Force be with you.”

Star Wars Day

Fans of Star Wars have a special day to celebrate each year: May 6th. Although Wookieepedia calls this day the “Universal Day of the Jedi,” many Star Wars fans consider May 26th to be the official Star Wars Day. Frank Oz, who played the iconic Darth Vader in the Star Wars films, was born on this day in 1944. Peter Cushing, who played Grand Moff Tarkin in the films, was born on this day in 1913.

If you want to celebrate May 6th as a Star Wars Day, consider reading one of the many books available for purchase on the date. Fans of the prequels and the original trilogy will want to purchase the Art of Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. The book features fantastic illustrations from the era. May 6th is also a great time to play games based on the Star Wars universe, such as KOTOR. You can also celebrate the day by playing the classic Star Wars video game or even the new MMO. You can even go as far as buying a $6000 life-sized Darth Malgus statue.

Revenge of the Sith

In the world of Star Wars, May 5th is known as “Revenge of the Fifth” and May 6th is “Revenge of the Sixth.” While the first date is used to celebrate the Jedi, the latter date is dedicated to the Dark Side. This is because it is the day following May 4th, making the celebration of the new trilogy a double-day event.

Although the first two films were huge successes, George Lucas had trouble meeting the high standards set by the original trilogy. Though Attack of the Clones was a box office hit, it did not meet the same level of success, and the subsequent movie was met with harsh criticism. Despite the fact that Lucas wrote the first draft of the script for this movie decades before it was shot, numerous changes were made to it during the post-production process.

The plot of the new movie is a continuation of the events of Attack of the Clones. After the death of Anakin’s father, the Galactic Republic has been engulfed in an epic war with the Confederacy of Independent Systems, led by Count Dooku. In addition, General Grievous’ Separatist Droid Army has brought war to Coruscant, and captured the Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine.

Hyperspace Mountain

When Space Mountain transforms into Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain on May 6, guests will get a full immersion into the universe of the Star Wars film franchise. The ride will include a visit from Admiral Ackbar, the leader of the rebel Alliance on the planet Jakku. Once aboard the ride, guests will be briefed by the Rebel Alliance and then blast off in a starship at incredible speed. While traveling in Hyperspace, guests will dodge TIE fighters and a massive Star Destroyer.

The first run of Hyperspace Mountain began in 2015. The attraction debuted during Season of the Force, which featured new food items inspired by the franchise. There was also a new Star Tours scene featuring the Path of the Jedi show. The attraction was so popular that the original Star Wars roller coaster was extended to the holiday season. It also replaced the Ghost Galaxy version of Space Mountain. If you’re planning a visit to Disneyland during the holiday season, be sure to check out the Star Wars-themed ride.
