Map
The map of Altus Plateau can be accessed after you activate the Grand Lift of Dectus. The map is located in an area to the left of a large set of stairs. Once you find this map, you will be able to travel around and explore the Altus Plateau. Moreover, you will be able to find some rare items in these areas. In addition, you can also find some optional bosses in this region.
The main focus of the Elden Ring is the Royal Capital, which begins the questline for the Dung Eater. You can also travel to Mt. Gelmir, though this area is a bit tricky to navigate. The good news is that you can get transported there early, or after you have reached the Altus Plateau. The final major area is the Mountaintops of the Giants, which is home to the Heretical Rise tower and few fast travel points.
Bosses
There are three bosses to kill in the Altus Plateau: the Onyx Lord, the Misbegotten Warrior, and the Bell Bearing Hunter. Each has their own strengths and weaknesses and requires a different approach. In general, the Onyx Lord is more tanky than the Albaster Lord, but still hard to beat. Both bosses have a wide variety of damage and attack types. Fortunately, you can take both if you’re prepared and equipped to deal with them.
The first boss, the Grafted Scion, is designed to kill you. However, if you’re able to find the Imbued Sword Key, you can use it to kill him with ease. You can find it on the third highest of the Four Belfries, on the west coast of Liurnia of the Lakes. The Scion’s hands have many attacks that rely on its sword, and you must use a huge shield to absorb their hits and time your dodges to make them less effective.
Saplings
There are several locations to find Saplings in Altus Plateau Elderring. These saplings are scattered across the area, and can be found next to a glowing tree or sapling. Saplings may also be found in nearby towns. You can find golden saplings in the northern outskirts of the city of Caria, near the edge of a river, and in the western part of the city near a statue.
The Altus Plateau is home to several trees, including two saplings that can be used to upgrade flasks. Players can upgrade flasks using Erdtree saplings to restore health and more FP per swig. However, upgrading flasks requires additional Golden Seeds. Fortunately, players can start out with a golden sapling. These trees can be found between Stormveil Castle and Stormhill Shack Site of Grace.
Windmills
You can visit the Windmills in Altus Plateau if you’re looking to find a new, more challenging area to raid. The Windmill Village is located east of the “Road of Iniquity Side Path” Site of Grace. It is a surprisingly sinister location, with multiple enemies and a unique field boss encounter. Read on for details! Listed below are some tips to get the most out of the Windmills.
The East Windmill Pasture is located northwest of the North Windmill Village. This area has a Battlemage standing on a rock. You can approach him from behind or ride on horseback to kill him. If you succeed, you can gain the Battlemage Set, which includes a Haima Glintstone Crown, the Battlemage Robe, and Battlemage Manchettes. In addition, the Battlemage Legwraps are found in a nearby shack, and a Sacred Tear and Dragonbolt Blessing incantation.
Elemer Of The Briar
If you’ve completed the first Elder Ring quest, you may want to look for Elemer of the Briar in the Altus Plateau. This human boss is located in the Shaded Castle, which is found in the Northern section of the map. To get there, ride across the Bridge of Iniquity and drop down Spirit Springs to the center of the castle. After that, head north to reach Elemer of the Briar, who will be standing on a wooden catwalk.
The Elemer of the Briar is a boss that spawns near merchants in the Lands Between. It is not a complex character and can easily be two-shotted by most characters. The best time to fight him is before he’s able to respawn, so be careful not to underestimate his strength. If you get caught by one of his attacks, the enemy will be stunned.
