Dark Thoughts
In World of Warcraft, the Darkened Mind ability gives a player a 25% chance to activate the effect, which causes a shadow to animate and deal Shadow damage to enemies within ten yards. While Dark Thoughts do not stack, they can only be used once. A Dark Thought charge is not permanent, and it disappears when it wears off. If you’re planning on using Dark Thoughts often, you should learn more about their cooldown and how to use them.
Ohn’ahran Plains
The wild god of wind, Ohn’ahra, led the ancient centaur tribes to these lands. They settled peacefully and advanced alongside the magical drakes. As a player, you will explore the area, encounter new creatures, and aid in the fight against demented proto-dragons. This zone is described as vast and has required significant improvements.
Waking Shores is the first zone in Dragonflight, and it’s also where the adventure begins. Here, you’ll meet the Djaradin, half-giants that wield magma power. After conquering Waking Shores, you’ll be rewarded with the Ohn’ahran Plains, a vast, wide plains where you’ll encounter a new race called Dracthyr. Ohn’ahra is a legendary wild god of the wind and he guided the Centaur caravan to the Dragon Isles.
Dracthyr
In World of Warcraft, Dracthyr are a brand new neutral race that work very similarly to the Pandaren. This new race can be rolled for either the Horde or Alliance. The character creation pane contains a Dracthyr option. This new class offers unique customization and looks very different from any other race. Those interested in creating a Dracthyr character should read on for more information.
Dracthyr are not yet known to have any spells or abilities, so players will need to research them. They are primarily used as a mount for a character and will switch between their human/elf form and their dragon form outside of combat. Blizzard is also exploring the possibility of letting Dracthyr stay in “visage” form even while engaged in combat. In World of Warcraft, Dracthyr racial abilities include wing buffet conal knock back, conal tail swipe, and thump.
Chromatus
Unlike other chromatic dragons in World of Warcraft, Chromatus is not hostile to either the alliance or the horde. He has a dark, monstrous aura and is capable of spewing dark purple flames. The five-headed monster was first introduced in the WoW novel, Thrall: Twilight of the Aspects. While Chromatus isn’t an actual threat, the character is still terrifying.
As the first chromatic dragon, Chromatus possesses the power of all five dragonflights. Initially dead, Chromatus revived with the blood of the blue dragon Arygos. Then, he joined the battle against Kalecgos, but was eventually defeated by the united power of the Dragon Aspects. He also took an interest in Kirygosa and managed to escape from Chromatus.
Azure Span
The new zone Azure Span in World of Warcraft will allow you to experience blue flight. Inspired by the Grizzly Hills from the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, the new zone has several layers of elevation, including a vertical section. In addition, this zone features a revamped Tuskarr race, with male and female versions. You can also now mount an otter.
