Why is The Witcher 3 Boring?

The Witcher 3 is incredibly boring, for many reasons. The game is overly bloated, with an open world that prioritizes pretty vistas over fun exploration. You’re also constantly showered with loot, but 99.9% of it is worthless. Combat is also incredibly easy, with so many overpowered options that the rest is worthless. This means that the game is too easy to enjoy for a 100-hour journey.

Gameplay

In general, The Witcher 3 is boring. Its open world is bloated and prioritizes pretty vistas over exciting exploration. While it does shower you with tons of loot, 99.9% of it is worthless. Its combat system is overly complicated and overpowered, which makes the rest useless. This isn’t a great game, especially for those who want to spend a hundred hours playing it.

There are several reasons why gameplay of the Witcher 3 is boring. The combat system isn’t good and Geralt’s movement is overly clumsy. The game isn’t worth buying for the sake of its action-packed combat. It also has boring dialogue options and overzealous movement. It’s a bit too easy to make mistakes, which means that you’ll have a hard time finding what you’re looking for.

Side quests

While the main plot is compelling, the side-quests in The Witcher 3 are pretty boring. There isn’t much depth to them and they’re only there to pad out the open world. In addition to being boring, these quests often involve interacting with dull NPCs and killing monsters. As a result, these quests are not worth the time invested and can be skipped without spoiling the main plot.

In order to avoid being bored, make sure you spend time on side quests. The game’s quests can be fairly standard, and many of them begin with the same boring setup. However, there are some side quests that have some unique content. For example, the quest “Scenes From a Marriage” requires Geralt to talk to a cat and a dog. However, you can find more interesting quests in the DLC “Hearts of Stone,” which includes a ton of content.

Combat

If you’re tired of the same old combat, I have bad news for you: Witcher 3 is not for you. This game’s combat is dull as heck. You’ll spend the entire game dodging enemy attacks, dodging in to hit enemies, and aiming your magic at enemies. Thankfully, there are tons of different ways to mix things up, including a new type of melee attack, a ranged attack, and ranged weapons.

As with most RPGs, combat in Witcher 3 is too simple. As a new player, you’ll have to be hyper-aware of your surroundings and be patient for your character to react. This can make combat boring, as you’ll often end up missing vital details or simply letting your opponent do it better than you. Combat in Witcher 3 is also very predictable, which means that you won’t be surprised by a random encounter, even after hours of playing.

Story

Many gamers say that The Story of Witcher 3 is boring, and it’s true. There are hours of supplemental plot and side quests, but many of them are largely pointless. Players may be frustrated by a lack of challenge, excessive combat, or role-playing, but they can easily skip those quests if they don’t find them particularly interesting. Fortunately, the game is not without its charms.

The game’s setting is a war-torn world, ravaged by an advancing Nilfgaardian Empire. Geralt of Rivia is a witcher who specializes in tracking down war beasts. While many video games focus on power and putting the player in the lead role, The Witcher 3 focuses on exploring a medieval fantasy world. The Northern Kingdoms are a stand-in for Poland and the series is steeped in Polish folklore.
