When they finally encounter the Alliance, Saurfang declares that the Alliance has too many soldiers. He abandons the Horde, and takes the pendant from his son’s body. Varok Saurfang
Varok Saurfang is a legendary warrior from the Horde who has spent his life on the battlefield. He has buried many of his friends and family, including his own son, and will be forced to decide whether he will continue fighting or lay down his ax. But is there enough honor in this old soldier’s life to make him stay in the war? Possibly.
Dranosh Saurfang
The cinematic, “Dranosh Saurfang: An Old Soldier,” follows Varok, the son of the legendary Varok Saurfang. In it, Varok reflects on the events that led to his creation and the creation of his people. Despite these differences, these two characters remain the most prominent figures in the new expansion, Battle for Azeroth.
Zekhan
During the Battle for Azeroth, you’ll likely have seen Zekhan, the jungle troll shaman. He is the son of Hekazi, a troll warrior who fought with Varok Saurfang in the Third War. After his father was killed, Zekhan joined the Horde’s war effort. Varok Saurfang passed the torch to Zekhan, who later became an ambassador for the Horde in Zandalar.
Dranosh’s father
It’s time for the next cinematic in World of Warcraft, and this time, it’s titled Old Soldier. This new cinematic will introduce a new character, Zappyboi (Zekhan). While we first saw him in the Battle for Azeroth cinematic, this time around, he has a larger role to play.
Dranosh’s death
If Dranosh died in World of Warcraft, what would happen to the other characters? Well, if we’re assuming he would’ve served under Garrosh and helped the Vol’jin in the rebellion, the other character would probably be none other than Saurfang. But, we don’t see any action from the Alliance or Horde since that point in time, and that’s because they’ve both been dead.
Heart of Azeroth
The Heart of Azeroth is a new artifact medallion that unlocks powerful power-ups in special pieces. This questline requires you to complete the Heart of Azeroth mission in the Maelstrom and Mount Hyjal. When you complete this quest, you’ll unlock the Azerite Power achievement and level up your character. Heart of Azeroth is also a good place to farm for legendary items.
Burning of Teldrassil
Ever since the release of War of the Thorns, Horde players have been looking for a new hero to play. Fortunately, Blizzard has responded to this need with the introduction of the “Old Soldier” class. This class features a troll shaman and is an excellent choice for bolstering the pride of the Horde.
