Josuke Higashikata’s father
Known as a “bastard”, Josuke Higashikata is the son of Joseph Joestar and Tomoko Higashikata. He had a bizarre upbringing growing up and never met his biological father. Years later, Josuke met his father, a widower named Joseph, who was a former student at the University of Morioh. He fought with Jotaro Kujo and befriended Koichi Hirose and Okuya Nijimura. Josuke’s stand is titled Crazy Diamond.
The story of how Josuke met his father is a complicated one. While Josuke grew up thinking of his dead stepfather, Joseph remained committed to Holly Joestar and his daughter. The surviving Joestar children were raised by their fathers, and Josuke spent the first sixteen years of his life imagining his father as his own.
Jonathan Joestar’s affair with Erina
The second act of Jonathan Joestar’s marriage is marked by the reappearance of Dio. When Jonathan is attacked by Dio, Erina rushes to his aid. She sees him use the last of the Ripple to sink the ship. She plans to die by his side, shielded by the coffin of Dio, and decides to tell her unborn child the truth about Jonathan.
The third act of the movie is a flashback of Erina and Jonathan’s honeymoon. The zombies attack the ship, and Jonathan fights them, becoming critically injured. Afterwards, Erina declares that she will die with Jonathan. However, while she is dying, she notices an abandoned baby. She saves the baby and manages to escape the ship with it. Jonathan’s affair with Erina continues throughout the third act of the film.
Joseph’s relationship with Suzi Q
The relationship between Joseph Joestar and Suzi Q is a bit messy. Suzi had to deal with Joseph’s infidelity. In the 1920s, relationships between people of the same sex were rare, so it was a shock when he proposed to her. Joseph’s love interest Rafaella was also married to another man, but it wasn’t until 1943 that he took Suzi Q into his life. The two married and had a daughter, Holly, in 1942.
During the battle, Joseph and Suzi Q make a love-hate relationship. Suzi Q is slightly ditzy, but she’s faithful to her husband. Suzi also has great intuition, which allows her to discern the truth about Holy. However, she still keeps up a front of innocence. In part 3 of Stardust Crusaders, Suzi reverts to her former self in order to protect her husband.
Joseph’s anger at Esidisi
Esidisi was the weakest hamon in the group. Joseph couldn’t read her. She had spikes below her spikes, while Joseph was more like a prick. Esidisi would laugh, but Joseph knew what she was planning. He would kill Esidisi. Esidisi would laugh, but she would know what was about to happen.
In the second part of the story, Joseph still did not fully understand the Joestar lineage, but he did understand the necessity of putting DIO out of the world. During the time between Esidisi and Joseph’s anger at Esidisi, Holy was afflicted with the Stand and became infected with the disease. The attack on Holy cemented Joseph’s understanding of his lineage.
Joseph’s relationship with Survivor
The character of Joseph Joestar is an old man who has stopped aging by taking Ripple. He is an old man with a sunken face and a well-tended beard. Joseph wears pince-nez spectacles, a spotted woolen hat with ear flaps, a collared shirt, and gloves. When he is not surrounded by Survivor contestants, he carries his daughter, Shizuka.
