Control Who Can See Your Future Posts

You can control who can see your future Facebook posts by putting certain people on the “Friends except” list. Facebook’s privacy settings can be changed in the browser or while you’re creating a post. Once you have chosen your friends, you can use the “Friends except…” option to block specific people. Remember, though, that the settings will only take effect if you post something. You have to do this for each post, so you must post something before the change takes effect.

Friends except

If you want to control who sees your posts, Facebook has a feature that lets you exclude specific friends from seeing your future posts. You can choose to restrict certain friends from seeing your posts by changing your privacy settings. You can change the privacy settings of past posts as well. You can remove friends from your friends except list if you’d like to do so. Just be sure to keep your friends in mind, though.

Facebook has a variety of privacy settings, including the ability to hide your posts from the public. You can also control what people see when you post certain things. Some people may not want their posts to be seen by others, and they may want to permanently block someone from viewing their posts. Facebook has several different options for blocking posts, including the option to block people for life. You can also choose not to allow someone to see posts that you write for them.

Blocking

You can restrict someone from seeing your future posts by selecting the option under Settings > Sharing on Facebook. Blocking someone prevents them from viewing your posts in the future. This option only affects the Friends privacy setting and isn’t applicable to the public audience. The only way to see someone’s posts after they’ve been restricted is to tag them. You can still see their posts, however, if you have other people tagged in your post.

In addition to blocking people from seeing your posts, you can also restrict the number of friends who can see your posts. Facebook’s “Restricted List” feature lets you select which friends are on your restricted list. These people cannot see your posts unless you’ve set your privacy settings to “public” or “tagged” in the post. The restricted list is like a toned-down version of blocking.

Adding a friend to a restricted list

If you’ve created a post on Facebook, but don’t want your friends to see it, you can add them to a list of people who cannot see it. These people are known as Friends of Friends except. They can only see posts that you make public, and any other posts are invisible to them. If you want to restrict your future posts to just those people, you can set the privacy settings to be Friends of Friends except.

Adding a friend to a restricted-list will keep the two of you as friends. Your friends will only see your posts if you tag them in them, and will not know that you’re restricting their posts. If you want to make your posts visible to all your friends, however, you can do so by selecting the option to show only public posts to those people.

Viewing the list

If you want to block specific people from seeing your Facebook posts, you can view the list of friends you have not yet added to your friends list. This feature is not available on the mobile app, but you can still assign these people to different lists. To make posts that are hidden from certain people, you can open the Facebook browser on your PC and select the audience of your posts. When you have selected your audience, you can then send your posts to those people.

If you’d prefer not to include certain people in your posts, you can set the privacy settings on your account so that only specific friends will see them. Once you’ve done this, you can write your post normally and add photos, videos, and other content as you would with a regular status. To view the list of friends except for future posts, click on the “Edit” link in the upper right corner of the post.
