When set to “Auto-wrangle Surplus,” this tool automatically wrangles surplus critters. While you do not need a Stable to use Critter Drop-Off, it is recommended that you use it if you want to wrangle a large number of critters.

You can also set the limit of critters in each room by choosing “Auto-wrangle Surplus”. This isn’t a bug, and the maximum number of critters per Critter Drop-Off is 20. When critters in a room reach their limits, the drop-off stops working. If the room becomes flooded, the Critter Drop-Off will no longer function.
