What Are Dots in Final Fantasy 14?

When it comes to the game of Final Fantasy 14, what are dots? Dots are detrimental spells and abilities that cause small amounts of damage at a set interval over a period of time. On a server-wide scale, a DoT tices every 3 seconds. For example, a 10-potency DoT will tick 10 times within a thirty-second time period, each tick delivering an attack with ten potency.

Pet autos

In FF14, pets are dots that can be used to attack enemies, summon other pets, and do damage. Pets can be summoned by players and can be assigned to certain jobs, such as Arcanist or Scholar. When Bahamut is released, a new pet job will be added: the Summoner. Both of these jobs have pet autos, but the Summoner’s pet autos have an additional buff: Fiendish Tenacity and Divine Equilibrium. Fiendish Tenacity increases damage and critical hit rate for 12 seconds when your pet deals damage to a target that has been infected by Divine Equilibrium. Both of these abilities stack, so if you have one of each, you should be able to use them on your opponents.

Dots

One of the best ways to boost your stats in FF14 is by pulling Dots from high-end gear. This new system increases your actions, dealing faster damage and making awesome last-second saves. However, this new system can be frustrating at times. In this article, I’ll explain what you can do to improve your stats. Let’s start! How Dots Increase Your Stats in FF14

Spiritbond

You can level up your gear and increase your Spiritbond in Fif14 by playing with your gear. The game will show you which gear has the highest spiritbond value and increase it accordingly. Once you have reached level 45, your gear will bond much faster. The higher the quality of your gear, the faster your Spiritbond will increase. However, you should avoid relying on these techniques if you are aiming to level up quickly.

The level of your gear and item content determine the bonding rate. Higher quality gear (HQ) and materia bound to gear increases spiritbonding rate by 20%. It is a good idea to craft level 50 gear to achieve a higher spiritbond rate. Also, when you meld materia into your gear, the rate of spiritbonding increases by 25%. However, do note that you must equip a gear piece with 100% Condition to increase its rate.
