In Hinata’s episode, Naruto’s stubborn streak is exemplified by his insistence on becoming the next Hokage, despite the dangers of the job. The fact that he is so determined to prove himself makes him an inspiration to Hinata, who gains much of her strength from him. Likewise, Hinata finds Naruto’s stubbornness very inspiring, and eventually adopts the nindo (ninja way) when she begins to lose faith in herself.

Despite the fact that Hinata had a smaller role in the manga than Naruto, the two shared a stubborn streak. Unlike Sasuke, Hinata left the shinobi lifestyle behind to raise a family. In contrast, Naruto became the Hokage of a village and led it through its many ups and downs. But how did the two find each other in the first place?
