Finding the Golden Scarab is a staple of Elden Ring runs. You’ll find it in the Abandoned Cave and Dragonwound Grease dungeons. However, you’ll have to be very careful when you use it. The more powerful enemies will drop more runes, and they may miss some of the bonuses from combat-oriented talismans. Nonetheless, it is a necessary piece of gear for Elden Ring runs.

Dragonwound Grease is a dungeon in Caelid

The dungeon contains several locations that you can visit. The Abandoned Cave is one such location. You can enter here via a tunnel, and find a corpse on the ledge below. Upon entering, you’ll notice a statue that’s prone to ambushes. It contains a dragonwound grease, so don’t ignore it. The Servant of Rot is nearby, and will attack you if you’re caught in the middle of the cave.

While you’re at it, you might as well learn a new spell that increases the damage your weapon does to dragons. The new skill “Dragonwound Grease” is a powerful one, and if you can find enough of it, you can use it to bolster your arsenal. This new skill will increase your damage against dragons by 30%.

It contains the Abandoned Cave

This short cave is filled with Scarlet Rot. It is located east of the Smoldering Wall Site of Grace in Caelid. This cave can only be reached by sneaking across a large branch. It is guarded by a large undead dog and an Abductor Virgin. You must take care not to fall. There are several other enemies in this cave.

The Abandoned Cave contains the Scarlet Rot. To defeat it, you must use Curative Items and the Flame, Cleanse Me incantation, which is obtained by gathering 12 Faith. Having curative items will allow you to heal the Scarlet Rot that affects you. The biggest challenge here is avoiding the Scarlet Rot, so make sure you move to the left immediately upon entering the cave. You’ll then have to run through a tunnel to the right. You can’t go back and forth with the Scarlet Rot.

The Abandoned Cave is a crucial part of leveling up in the Elden Ring. Players who find it in this location will be rewarded with great treasures. The Abandoned Cave is one of the easiest areas to find once you have the Gold Scarab, but it may not be easy to spot without a guide. Fortunately, there is a guide available that can help you find and complete the Abandoned Cave in a timely manner.

It contains the Cleanrot Knights

The Cleanrot Knights can be encountered by completing the quest in the Abandoned Cave. This is located east of the Grace Smoldering Wall in the Caelid region. Once you reach it, you’ll need to fight the boss. Thankfully, the encounter is quite manageable and is relatively simple to complete once you’ve obtained Godrick. However, if you are not yet Godrick, you might find this quest a bit difficult. Fortunately, the Cleanrot Knights are fairly manageable once you’ve mastered this quest.

The Cleanrot Knights can be very dangerous when fought with an axe or a spear. In melee combat, you should avoid letting them attack you, as they’ll usually use their weapon skill to dodge your attacks. However, they’re relatively easy to defeat if you’ve learned to play your cards right. Fortunately, there are several ways to deal with them in the quest.

It contains the Golden Scarab

If you’ve been looking for the Golden Scarab talisman, you’ve come to the right place. The gold Scarab Talisman will increase the amount of runes you’ll be able to get from enemies by 20%, making rune farming a whole lot easier. First, you must go to Caelid, a town east of Limgrave. Once you reach Caelid, you’ll need to go to the Site of Grace in Caelem Ruins.

The Golden Scarab Talisman is located in Caelid, the region east of Limgrave. To get there, take the Summon Water Village Outskirts and then enter the Smouldering Wall Site of Grace. Then, continue eastward, passing through an area full of monster dogs and dead trees. Afterward, head northeast up a hill and head eastward.
