Jasley Donomikols
The death of Mikazuki isn’t the only major plot point in the episode. There is also the mysterious death of Naze and Lafter. These deaths are unnecessary but did push the plot forward. The deaths of Naze and Lafter were necessary to move the plot along, but aren’t they a bit cliched? Jasley Donomikols tries to make them look more heroic, but in the end, it’s clear that he didn’t want Mikazuki to die.
In the Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS television series, Jasley Donomikols is the Executive Director of the JPT Trust. He plots to take control of the Teiwaz and use the ‘Golden Jasley’ to sabotage the Tekkadan fleet. In the original Japanese version, Jasley is voiced by Ryota Takeuchi, while D.C. Douglas plays Albert Wesker in the Resident Evil franchise.
Gaelio’s treachery
It is the character’s intent to cause Mikazuki’s death that causes the whole misunderstanding. Gaelio is Gaelio. He is a friend and an enemy. The reason why Gaelio killed Mikazuki is not clear, but the character may have been trying to cut Rustal off from his friend. As a result, Gaelio shoots Rustal in the chest.
It is unknown how much of McGillis’s treachery prompted Mikazuki’s death, but his death is certainly connected to the events that took place in Hashmal. McGillis was part of a corrupt regime, and McGillis was the one who used Ein and Carta to his own gain. While Gaelio has a right to be infuriated by this, he has no right to kill Mikazuki without telling him first.
Tekkadan’s death
The mutiny against Tekkadan was started by a CGS officer named Orlis Stenja. He was killed by Gundam Barbatos during the First Corp mutiny, but his younger brother, Corlis, remained on Earth. When Tekkadan arrived on Earth, he betrayed Tekkadan by divulging the travel route to Earth to his ally, Orcus Company. Tekkadan then stripped him and he later works for Montag Company. His personal reasons are unknown, but he has a desire to visit Earth one day.
He seems to have a crush on Norba Shino, and is a vegetarian. It is later revealed that he dislikes meat because it is red. He is last seen working at Kassapa Mobile Worker Factory. However, there is one thing that is certain about him. He is killed by Jasley’s subordinates, and this brings the war to a close. However, the other members of Turbine are not killed.
Mikazuki’s death
This episode shows the end of the first season of the Mikazuki manga. After the battle with Gjallarhorn, Mikazuki is killed, but after the conflict, Atra gives birth to their son, Akatsuki Augus Mixta Bernstein. He is powered by an artificial black hole, which summons energy for the nanomachines to regenerate any attack. One of his most dangerous abilities is Moonlight Butterfly, which he can summon from the black hole.
It’s hard to think about Mikazuki’s death in terms of the manga, but he had no choice. He knew he had to do this to put Tekkadan on the map. Mikazuki had already lost his right arm, and his eye. After this point, he had to be carried by a subordinate, hush. Despite the consequences of losing his arm and leg, Mikazuki sacrificed himself for Tekkadan, which is what made him die.
Orga’s intervention
The story of Orga’s intervention in Mika’s death reflects the importance of Orga’s influence on the lives of humans. While Mika is unquestionably loyal to Orga, he is not able to fully internalize the criticisms that come from outside. As such, Mika is unable to fully comprehend the world without Orga. And without Orga, Mika can’t understand the consequences of her actions.
While Orga is not responsible for Mikazuki’s death, he is the person who motivates him to reach his full potential. He follows his orders and is devoted to fulfilling his plans. This deep bond between Mikazuki and Orga makes the two of them feel close, and their loyalty is unfailing. However, this loyalty is life-threatening, since Mikazuki is willing to give up his life to save Orga.
