Call of Duty: Black Ops III’s campaign structure

However, the campaign mode in Black Ops III uses vehicles as weapons. Players can even commandeer helicopters and other vehicles, such as boats and tanks. The campaign also has a fully-featured leveling system, with a focus on weapons and the ability to collect Fabrication Kits. The difficulty level also influences the amount of XP players can earn during campaign play.

Unlike previous entries, Black Ops III offers a single executable file. Instead of discrete games-within-games, the campaign structure in Black Ops III is all unified into a single executable file. Previously, players had to manually switch between single-player and multiplayer modes. Now, players simply boot into single-player mode and choose what to do. This makes it far easier to move between missions and modes.

In this game, players can choose which characters to fight and which to save. A stream of text will appear on the screen before each mission, which is a series of mission reports written by the player’s character, John Taylor.
