How to Catch a Sea Turtle in World of Warcraft

The Sea Turtle is a very rare and difficult to catch fish in World of Warcraft. Compared to other fish, it can take several days to catch. Once caught, it is bound to the angler and does not show any confirmation dialogue. In addition, unlike most fish, it can’t be looted or re-cast unless the bag is empty. If the bag is empty, it can only be looted with a bag space.

Fishing pools in Northrend

The best way to catch a Sea Turtle in the Northrend region of World of Warcraft is to fish in one of the many fishable lakes and rivers. These water bodies are called “pools” and are available in all areas, including the sea. The English patch notes clearly state this. Fishing in these waters is not a viable option for a low-level player.

There are several ways to find the best fishing pools in Northrend. The Frozen Sea, south of the Borean Tundra, and the Sholazar Basin have a lot of fish. Each of these areas is separate from each other by a vast area. However, it’s still possible to fish in these pools with a single character, as they respawn quickly.

Fishing pools in Pandaria

Fishing pools are circular areas of fishable water. They are extremely important for the fishing profession. Fish found in these areas tend to be more valuable, and there are many ways to improve your odds of catching them. The specific term for these areas is a “school of fish,” but it can also refer to any other critter object in the World of Warcraft world. Fishing in a fish pool is a great way to increase the chances of catching better items.

To start fishing, visit the nearest fishing pool. You’ll see a blue circle surrounding a group of fish. Mouse over any fish in the water to identify what type of fish it is. You can also find loot in other types of pools. The loot from these locations is the same as those in other parts of Pandaria. For example, a Sea Turtle’s catch will grant you a Tiny Green Karp pet.

Fishing pools in Cataclysm

The most common places to fish for the Sea Turtle mount are those in Northrend and the Cataclysm leveling zones. However, you can catch this rare mount on a few quest-only pools as well, including the Pool of Blood (normally a daily quest, but you can create it without completing it). Alternatively, you can fish in Shipwreck Debris on Darkmoon Island, but you must be very lucky to catch one.

The best areas to fish in Cataclysm are those in the Grizzly Hills, Borean Tundra, and Lake Kum’uya. While these areas are relatively close to each other, they are separated by large bodies of land and can be fished in a continuous fashion. However, be aware that these areas tend to yield less valuable fish and gold.

Finding a sea turtle

A sea turtle is a rare mob in World of Warcraft, and it is not easy to find. You can find it in the northern part of Darkshore. If you are able to spot it in the water, you can use its shell to craft items. However, if you fail to do so, you may be surprised to find out that this mob is polymorphed. It may be a murloc.

A sea turtle can be caught in any pool in Cataclysm or Northrend, although it is not as common as other mounts. The catch must be at least level 20 to get a Sea Turtle mount. Some types of sea turtle are craftable, and some can be obtained by professions. Some are bound to a particular player, while others can be sold or traded. Nevertheless, this is still the best way to get a sea turtle mount.
