The first thing you should know about the world of Cetus is its location. The continent is located off the northern coast of the Caspian Sea and appears to be situated in Kazakhstan. Warframe’s timeframe, however, cannot be taken as an accurate representation of nature. The geography and biology of the world are similar to Earth, so you might think that the day and night cycles would be the same.

The climate is also important to note because Cetus does not share the same day-night cycle as Earth does. Hence, daytime is shorter than nighttime. The same is true for the continent’s nighttime. During the daytime, the climate is comparatively cooler. The polar temperatures vary between -1.2°C and -1°C. This climate is perfect for fishing.

To begin your adventure in Cetus, start with The Archwing quest and get the Archwing Launcher Segment. This will save you time on the ground. The maps of Cetus are not designed to tell you where to go and what to buy, so it’s best to start by getting your Archwing Launcher Segment first. Once you have the Archwing Launcher, you’ll have to make sure you’re in a position where you can shoot down enemies.

The day/night cycle is based on the day’s tileset, which is the Grineer Forest. It rotates four hours during the day. If you are unsure when it’s day or night, check the game’s Companion app or a calendar. It also has a clock to let you know what time it is on Earth.

In Warframe, you can easily tell if it’s daytime or nighttime on Earth. To make this easier, you can use a third-party tool that displays the day/night cycle on various planets. The Warframe Hub also displays day/night cycles for Deimos, Cetus, and the Orb Vallis. The day/night cycle of Earth is based on the UTC timezone.
