The Union Cave is a location in Pokemon Heartgold that can be reached by traveling to Route 33. If you are equipped with a surfboard, you can easily reach the lower levels of this cave. Once you are in the cave, you will need to battle some NPCs. Each time you defeat them, they will become stronger by three or four times. The cave is found in the Johto region.

You can get HM Surf and use it to catch Lapras in Union Cave. Lapras will appear in Union Cave on Fridays after using the HM Surf. It’s important to note that you don’t need flash to catch it. The Lapras in Union Cave are mainly found in the lower left entrance. If you catch a Lapras using HM Surf, it will appear in the lower left entrance every Friday.

Location of Lapras

A Lapras is a type of water Pokemon that can be found in Pokémon HeartGold. It is a level 20 water Pokemon that can be found in the Union Cave, located in the ‘B2’ area. To catch Lapras, you’ll need to have 1,250,000 experience points. There are two ways to get Lapras. You can find them in the Union Cave or in a nearby location.

This Pokemon is part of the Water/Ice theme. The Water Absorb ability grants it immunity to Water-type moves, while Shell Armor provides protection against critical hits. Hydration will cure status issues while in the rain. Although Lapras isn’t an evolved form, it’s a great Water-type Pokemon to have in your party. You’ll have to learn Surf and beat the Ecruteak Gym to catch this Pokemon.

Location of Hiker Daniel

Union Cave is a location in the Johto region. It is split in two parts by Route 33 and Route 32. It has two basement exits. At the lower level, you can find Ruins of Alph and a rare Onix. Deep inside the cave, there is a wild Lapras that can be captured each Friday. However, you need to know that you need Surf in order to reach it.

To reach the location, you must head south from the entrance to Route 33. You can also head north to find the whirpool. If you’re not sure which way to go, you can check Route 34. A little further west, you’ll find a small cave where you can find rare candy. Once you’ve found it, you can continue to the Union Cave’s basement area.

Location of ruins of Alph

Located southwest of Violet City, the Ruins of Alph are filled with Unown. These creatures are found in several forms that resemble alphabetic letters. There are also a question mark and an exclamation mark. Upon completion of this location, you can unlock the Unown forms by going to Union Cave. You can find all of the Unown forms in the Ruins by completing a side quest called Unown Report.

The Ruins of Alph are also where Gold and his friends first met. In the first episode of the game, Gold met Bugsy in this area, and the two helped foil Team Rocket Elite Trio’s plan to capture Unown. In the second episode, Hurray for Heracross, Gold encountered Suicune at the Ruins of Alph, who was in search of a worthy Trainer for its confrontation with the Masked Man. The two eventually fought, but Suicune escaped and Gold was able to defeat him.
