Scarlet Monastery

The best places to farm Silk Cloth in World of Warcraft are the Hinterlands, where trolls drop tons of mageweave. This is particularly helpful if you want to make your dreamweave set, as wildvine sells for 15g per chestpiece on my server. The Scarlet Monastery is also a great place to farm Silk, especially if you’re looking for a Tabard of the Scarlet Crusade.

If you’re looking to farm Silk Cloth in World of Warcraft, you’ll find plenty of dungeons that drop it. The Armory is full of dozens of humanoid monsters, and each one drops one to four pieces of silk. This area isn’t the best place to farm for other professions, as most humanoid mobs will only drop Silk Cloth, and Fadeleaf does not sell a lot of it.

Mana Wraiths

The Cathedral wing of the dungeon is higher level but decent for farming Mageweave. It is also the highest level dungeon a level 60 can solo.

Furlbogs

There are two ways to farm silk in World of Warcraft: either through killing and picking up orcs, or by farming Silk Cloth from NPCs. In either case, you need to get a high number of drops, preferably more than five per encounter. The Dwarf and Trogg mobs that spawn around Stonewatch Keep and Tower are both great sources of Silk Cloth. The Armory and Cathedral wings of Scarlet Monastery are also good sources of silk.

The Armory and Library wings are great for farming silk off level, while the Cathedral wing is a decent spot for Mageweave farming. Lastly, you can farm silk cloth from the dwarves outside Uldaman. You can farm silk cloth in these zones, and they drop at high levels, so you can use the silk to make your own bags.
