Star Wars The Force Awakens – Where is Luke Skywalker?

If you have seen the new Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens, then you may be wondering: Where is Luke Skywalker? Well, if you haven’t, you’re missing out on one of the most interesting story lines of the franchise. Here’s where you can find out the identity of Luke Skywalker, Skellig Michael, Lando Calrissian, and Jabba the Hutt.

Luke Skywalker

Mark Hamill returns as Luke Skywalker in Star Wars The Force Awkens, making his triumphant return to the big screen. Though not a major character, Luke was not prominently featured in the previous Star Wars film, The Rise of Skywalker. While Hamill starred in The Last Jedi, his role in this movie was not as prominent. While he appeared in the film to speak to Rey Skywalker, his first return to the big screen was a huge change from the previous films.

After killing Darth Vader, Luke is forced to assume the role of Grand Master of the New Jedi Order. His followers must follow his leadership and make order a priority. He exiles two members of his Order, Tahiri and Lowbacca. He also imprisons the former Chancellor Rex. He teaches them the ways of the Force. The Jedi Order is formed as a result of his efforts to save the galaxy.

Skellig Michael

You may have seen Skellig Michael in Star Wars The Force Ascends, but what about the real Skellig? This UNESCO World Heritage Site is only 12 kilometers off the southwest coast of Ireland. It is famous for its dramatic views and the sixth century Christian monastic community that inhabited the island. However, because of the remote location and steep climb, the film is likely to feature a much more crowded experience than Skellig Michael.

In May, Mark Hamill revealed to Entertainment Weekly that he didn’t feel the Force when he was informed that filming would be taking place on the island. The interview took place on the 40th anniversary of the first Star Wars film. During the interview, Hamill revealed that he wondered if he could reach Skellig Michael by helicopter. Despite being “so clueless”, Hamill admitted that he had no idea how to get there.

Lando Calrissian

Lando Calrissian is a character from the 1983 film Return of the Jedi. He destroyed the Death Star and will return to the fold in Episode VIII. His character is also a major Rebel leader, with a son and a mining facility. He is still active in the Rebellion and helps his old friends on missions, but he still has time to indulge in his gambling habits. Lando is also one of the last original Star Wars characters, and his return in The Force Awakens is welcomed news.

Billy Dee Williams has been cast as Lando in the latest Star Wars film. Though Abrams didn’t cast Lando in The Last Jedi, he’s still bringing back the character. The original director, Colin Trevorrow, had been working on Episode IX, but after creative differences, he parted ways with Lucasfilm. So, Abrams stepped in and brought Billy Dee back to the role.

Jabba the Hutt

The news site Latino Review has uncovered an interesting detail about Jabba the Hutt in Star War: The Force Awakens. It’s not entirely clear how many Hutts we will see, but it’s safe to assume that there will be at least one. Despite his slimy reputation, Jabba the Hutt appears to be a colorful character in the upcoming film.

While we’ve heard that Jabba the Hutt died in the original trilogy, it hasn’t been confirmed how he’ll be incorporated into the film. Several sources, including Latino-Review, have speculated that he’ll appear in the film, but there’s no guarantee. Nonetheless, it’s interesting to think about his return, particularly in light of rumors that the Hutts could play a pivotal role in the film’s storyline.

Rey

One of the more controversial theories in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” is that Rey is a descendent of Anakin’s Dark Side convert, but there is no solid proof that she is. Regardless, this theory suggests that Luke and Rey are in fact related. Moreover, the relationship between the Skywalkers and the Death Star seems complicated. Fans have been arguing about this question since the film’s premiere.

Rey is a natural Jedi, and Luke’s Jedi training has impacted her character as a person. In Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Rey and Luke have a close friendship. While Luke is helping Rey to defeat her father and save the galaxy, she is in search of her missing twin. When Luke reactivates his lightsaber, Rey follows. During the Battle of Yavin, Luke accidentally helps Rey destroy the Death Star.

Han Solo

If you loved Star Wars and its characters, you’ll love Han Solo in The Force Awakens. Harrison Ford portrayed Han Solo, and his popularity rivaled that of Luke Skywalker. But the character development of Han Solo was undone in the sequel trilogy, as he was portrayed as a failed husband and father who returned to smuggling goods. Han Solo was supposed to fill the mentor role in A New Hope, but instead fails to do so, and is blamed for the failure of the film.

In the first sequel, Han Solo returns to his old smuggler life, having lost his Millennium Falcon to thieves. Later, Han and Chewbacca return to Jakku, where they reclaim their starship. Rey (Daisy Ridley) and renegade stormtrooper Finn (John Boyega) are aboard. Han Solo pilots the Millennium Falcon as they make their way across the galaxy.
