CS of Helicopter Gunship
The Helicopter Gunship is an advanced hovering unit and an excellent choice for late-game Domination Wins. Its Embarkation ability allows it to cross rivers and other water bodies but incurs damage on mountains. When upgraded, the Landsknecht from Commerce gains a movement cost of zero. It can also be moved between Airports using the Airlift ability.
When fighting armored units, the helicopter is a fantastic choice. With its Combat Strength of 6, it can move over any terrain and can surprise an enemy. A helicopter’s attack bonus means it can sneak up on an opponent, and its mobility allows it to retreat quickly. In addition to hitting armored units, it can also target and retreat if necessary. This makes it an excellent choice for hit-and-run attacks.
While CS of Helicopter Gunship upgrades are available for every unit type, not all of them have unique attributes. Some, like the Air Recon, can see everything within six tiles of its starting location. Others, like the Air Sweep, can clear out intercepting units. Other attributes, such as Astronomy Needed, will prevent the aircraft from entering the deep ocean.
The Extended Eras feature makes the game last longer. In addition to the regular units, there are also some new civilizations that you can unlock. The Civil War Civs scenario adds the Union and Confederacy civilizations, as well as WWII Germany. Moreover, new civs and maps will be available. Whether you choose to create a new world or not, the Attack Helicopter will automatically be a part of your game, so you may want to check them out.
If you want to increase the value of your Helicopter Gunship, you should consider its early variants. These units suffer from a -33% penalty when attacking cities and cannot use defensive terrain bonuses. Therefore, they should be placed in open terrain or on cover to gain the most benefit from their upgrade. The lone Horseman, for example, can pillage two or three tiles in a single turn.
CS of Arabian Camel Archer
The Camel Archer is a powerful unique unit in CS of Arabia. When used correctly, it is one of the best units in the game. The cheesy Camel Archer can take down cities, and is a great unit to rush Chivalry Tech. Set up your Camel Archer three hexes from your target, step in one hex, and fire. Then, retreat to your city.
The Camel Archer’s main weakness is the fact that it is vulnerable to attacks from enemy Lancers. While enemy Lancers cannot be tagged by the Camel Archer, they can chase it and deal a huge amount of damage. In addition to that, the Camel Archer is vulnerable to melee attacks from Knights. As a result, it is important to protect your Oil producers from pillagers.
The Camel Archer is a mobile unit with a higher range than a Crossbow. He can move in and launch a powerful attack, then retreat if he feels vulnerable. He also doesn’t suffer from the rough terrain penalty that a Chariot Archer suffers. Camel Archers are stronger against cities than mounted units because they can attack a city without being bombarded.
The Camel Archer costs 50 wood and 60 gold, and its mangudai counterpart costs 55 wood and 65 gold. Both cost the same, but they take longer to create than Camel Archers. A Mangudai also costs less than the Camel Archer, but it takes 26 seconds to create one. Overall, the cost is more important than the creation time. It is also worth considering the Mangudai’s +1 bonus to attack against siege.
