If you have children, you probably wonder where to find your profile settings on Disney+. The regular profile has links to the main Disney+ sections, like Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic, among others. But for kids, profiles are mostly focused on Disney content. If you want to check out content that’s not related to Disney, you’ll have to use the search bar. Similarly, the TV-Y section shows content rated G or TV-Y.

Parental controls on Disney+

The good news is that Disney+ offers a variety of parental controls. You can set up profiles for your children and restrict their access to adult content. You can also create PIN protected profiles for children and use the Kid Profile feature to block content your children might find inappropriate. But how do you use these controls? Here are some tips. Let’s get started. Read on to find out how to use parental controls on Disney+.

Setting up parental controls is as simple as creating a four-digit PIN code and logging in. Once you have an account, you’ll be prompted to set up enhanced content ratings. This will prevent your children from seeing content that is rated too mature for their age group. While updating parental controls is possible globally, it is particularly important if you have a young child. You might not want to expose them to adult content just because they are younger than you are.

Changing content rating

When you’re using Disney+, you can choose the content rating for your profile. You can change the default rating, which is TV-14, or choose a different rating based on the content. You can also change your rating later by clicking on the personal icon and selecting Edit Profiles. Then, go to the Content Rating section to change it. After you’ve changed the rating, you can keep the old settings or select “Not now” when prompted.

Changing content rating is the last step to changing the parental controls. You can choose for your entire family or just select the content rating for a child. In general, a rating of “G” will show only content rated G and below. By setting the rating to “TV-MA”, however, all content on Disney Plus is shown. For older kids, this is not a good option. Instead, you should use TV-MA, which means your account will be able to watch anything you want to.

Adding PIN numbers to profiles

To prevent your children from accessing inappropriate content on Disney Plus, parents can add a four-digit PIN number to each profile. Once added, the PIN will prevent someone from accessing a child’s profile without knowing the PIN. To do this, go to the Disney Plus app and select the user account you want to control. Click on the Parental Controls icon. Then, tap on the Profile PIN option. Type in the four-digit PIN number and then hit the save button. Once you’ve entered the PIN, your profile is now locked and no one else can access it.

After signing up for Disney+, you can set a four-digit Profile PIN number to prevent anyone from logging in to your profile without your permission. From the Edit Profile screen, you can change your PIN and choose another one if you forget yours. You can also set a restriction on the creation of new profiles. This will prevent other users from creating new profiles. When creating a new profile, you will need to enter a four-digit password.

Signing up for Disney+

You can manage your child’s content by signing up for Disney+ and setting the appropriate age limits on each profile. You can also change the content rating after the fact, if you need to. To make changes, you need to sign in to your Disney+ account, enter your password, and choose the content rating. To view content based on age, visit the Disney+ website. You can see the content rating for all the categories of content.

The main benefit of having a separate account is that you can create multiple profiles. You can use Disney+ on up to four devices at the same time. You can also keep your account updated and share it with family and friends. Alternatively, you can sign in with your email address and set the time for sharing the account. It is also worth noting that you can delete a profile. Once you have deleted one, you will not be able to retrieve it.
