How to Make a Star Wars Blaster Out of Cardboard

If you are a Star Wars fan and would like to build a replica of one of your favorite characters, then you should definitely try this DIY project. The following tutorial will show you how to build a Mandalorian Jetpack, X-Wing helmet, and BB8. After reading it, you will be able to build your own Star Wars blaster rifle, if you wish.

Build your own Mandalorian Jetpack

For the final step in building your Mandalorian jetpack, you’ll need to add some weathering to the cardboard. You can use course sand paper to reveal the silver underneath, and then you can use acrylic paints to add color details. You can even paint the rocket and fuel chambers black, and use dry brushing to simulate dirt buildup and age. Once you’ve completed these steps, you can paint your Mandalorian jetpack and begin to play with it.

To build the base, start by cutting the foam core board into pieces. I cut a back piece that was 14″ wide by 3″ wide. I then cut the side pieces in half, and the middle one was about 15″. Then, using red and yellow duct tape, I attached two tiny plastic cups to the bottom of the middle Pringles can. Once the back piece was completed, I added shoulder straps so I could carry it.

Build your own X-Wing helmet

For those who love Star Wars and cardboard, a DIY shop is the perfect place to learn how to build your own X-Wing pilot helmet. Dustin McLean shows viewers how to make an X-Wing pilot helmet for around $22. This video includes step-by-step instructions and provides detailed photos of the materials used. It also includes the plans for the X-Wing helmet, which you can print out and follow along with.

To create the outer dome of the helmet, cut a triangular piece of cardboard and bend it around the curve of the dome frame. Next, glue the triangular piece to the frame sections. Trim it as necessary to get the curve of the dome right. This will make the final helmet fit correctly. To avoid having the inside seam of the helmet to show through, you can smear glue around the seams. Once you’re finished, cut out the opening for the visor.

Build your own BB8

You can build your own Star Wars blaster from cardboard, but you may not have all of the materials on hand. Luckily, you can purchase a lot of these items at your local craft store, and you can even make your own Star Wars droid from scratch! A blaster is the most essential weapon in the Star Wars universe, and it’s surprisingly easy to make. You’ll need a few supplies, such as duct tape, rubber bands, and cardboard. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even use a remote control car to build it!

Build your own Knight of Ren Blaster Rifle

The most powerful member of the Knights of Ren is Cardo, and his custom arm cannon is made to combine three different weapons into one. The flamethrower fires naphthex gel while the plasma bolt launcher shoots explosive charges at a range of 200 meters. And the rapid-fire laser blaster is a personal record of enemies. To build your own blaster rifle, you’ll need to use the materials listed below.

For a more authentic-looking replica of this Star Wars character, you can build the Knight of Ren Blaster Rifle Warrior from cardboard. You’ll need to buy cardboard, and you can find several different designs from different sites online. There are even some licensed cutouts you can find online. For best results, use cardboard cutouts that feature horizonal corrugation for strength and rigidity.
