First of all, how do you reset your PSP? Press the power button on the device and hold it for 5 seconds. When the system turns on, you should see a blue screen with the Sony logo. You should now hold the power switch up while you hold the right shoulder button down. Once the power switch has been switched on, you can press the buttons for about 30 seconds and it will turn on. Then, turn the power switch off. Now your PSP is ready to play.

Now that your PSP has been reset, it should be back to normal. To reset your PSP, press and hold the Right Shoulder button for about five seconds. After a couple of seconds, it will start. Just make sure you wait for about 30 seconds and you should be good to go! While the power switch is up, lay your PSP down. Now, flip it back on and hold it for another 30 seconds.

If you still don’t see the Sony logo, turn off the power switch and flip the power switch again. This will force your PSP to restart and use the default settings. Afterwards, you can try installing custom firmware if necessary. Lastly, you can also use the factory reset method to get your PSP back to its original factory settings.
