Xiao Xiao

During the first five hours of maintenance, you will notice that the server will be offline and won’t accept any requests for play. This is a routine maintenance that Mihoyo performs before every new version of Genshin Impact is released. This maintenance will take about five hours. You will have to wait for this time to login and log out of the server.

After the patch 2.3, Xiao’s re-run will be available. It’s unclear when the maintenance will take place, but it is scheduled for January 5th, 2021. The re-run of Xiao may be the first banner character to be released in Genshin Impact 2.4. Xiao’s re-run will be the first of the two banner characters in the new update. Genshin Impact 2.4 is expected to come out around January 5, 2022.

Baal

When will the Genshin Impact 2.1 maintenance be done? It could be anywhere between four and five hours depending on where you are located. This maintenance is scheduled to end around 11 pm Eastern Time. Players can expect to see a new update within a week after the maintenance is completed. This new update includes the Inazuma Islands, new weapons, characters, and Archon quests. Players will also receive free Primogems.
