Elder Scrolls Online – How to Beat Commander Niall in the First Few Rounds

If you have been looking for ways to beat Commander Niall in The Elder Scrolls Online, you have come to the right place. I’ll discuss his strategy, his weaknesses, and the cheese method to get past Niall in the first few rounds. Follow these tips to have a great game experience! Also, remember to check out my strategy guide to see if this method is right for you!

Strategy

To beat Commander Niall, you must first get distance from him. He uses a halberd and a prothesis to attack you. You can expect a four-hit combo from him. He will first do three sweeps and then unleash an overhead smash. Getting distance from him will give you time to dodge each attack. But you must be ready for the charging of the overhead smash, so you must time your attack and dodge the halberd while the halberd is falling.

In the first phase, Niall will only attack you if you are not defending yourself. This means you must kill the soldiers so you can focus on the boss. When the summons attack, they will inflict a lot of damage. The strategy you use to defeat Niall will depend on the summons you summon and the health of your knight. If the knight is low on health, you can use this time to kill him and your knights.

Weaknesses

Commander Niall’s weakness is his inability to deal damage to enemies until he has half health. During this phase, he is vulnerable, but he can recover from an attack by using the bewitching branch and summoning two wolf spirits. These spirits overwhelm all other enemies and give Niall easy hits. The dual-sword spirit spawns after summoning wolves. Heavy attacks can stagger it.

Niall’s primary weakness is that he’s extra susceptible to piercing harm, which is more dangerous than other guns and can cause serious damage. He also has no particular resilience to standing results, so it’s a good idea to get early harm relief. However, his Tier 2 changes from Tier 1, introducing a new set of attacks and a large buff to his attack power.

The most important thing to remember in this fight is to get a strong summon. Mimic Tear Ash is an excellent choice for surviving, as it’s good at pulling aggression. Also, you should focus on bleed damage and fire grease, since Niall uses ice attacks constantly. In addition, if you get hit by Niall’s attacks, you should retreat, because he uses the Wind to tire you out, leaving you vulnerable.

Tricks

One of the hardest bosses in the Elder Ring is Commander Niall. His most devastating attack is a charge-up, where he sucks up the wind and fires three whirlwinds of frost. Then, he follows up with a devastating halberd uppercut. A quick way to avoid this attack is to simply run away when you spot the Wind, which tires Niall out and leaves you wide open.

When you fight Niall, weapon speed is a key factor. Quick weapons are much more effective because they allow you to strike quickly without waiting for him to use moves. Those with Intelligence builds can use the Cerulean Hidden Tear, which provides you with infinite FP for ten seconds. Niall will not be able to resist such an attack, so hit him hard during this time.

Cheese method

You’ve probably heard of the “cheese method” to beat Commander Niall in Skyrim, but how does it actually work? One Reddit user u/H3NRY-56 has uncovered a clever method for defeating the boss. To do this, simply stand far away from the Fortress’s wall and use your bow to shoot at the boss. This way, the boss will not engage in a fight once you’re clear of him.

A Reddit user recently posted a video of the game’s final boss, which contains some very interesting scenery. While this method will not work on every boss, it can certainly make the game easier and more fun to play. In addition to this, the footage shows the end of the cheese strat, which is even better than the original version. It’s also the most efficient way to beat the boss without taking any damage in the process.
