To unlock BFA flying, your character must first find a Flying Trainer in the Shadowlands and train in Expert Riding or Master Riding. Depending on your skill level, training will take time and you will need to pay a small fee of Gold to the Trainers. But once you have completed your flying training, you can unlock flying in the rest of the game world. In the meantime, here are some tips to help you unlock flying in BFA.

Unlocking flying in Shadowlands
The requirements for unlocking flying in BFA remain the same in Shadowlands: you must complete the Covenant campaign and obtain the Expert Riding achievement. This achievement unlocks account-wide flight in the areas of Bastion, Maldraxxus, Ardenweald, and Oribos. You should have the right gear and plenty of gold in your bank to achieve this feat. Those are the only prerequisites for unlocking flying in the Shadowlands.
The quest for this achievement requires a level of at least 60. The good news is that it doesn’t require 100% exploration of the zones. In order to unlock flying in Shadowlands, you must be at least level 60. The rest of the prerequisites for this achievement include the Covenant Renown quests and progressing through the campaign. The achievement requires a lot of focus and dedication, but level 60 players should have no problems achieving it with time.
Unlocking flying in Draenor
You can unlock flying in Draenor by leveling your character to level 90 and then performing the corresponding quests in the new game. You will also need to have a Pathfinder achievement, which will unlock flying in the Shadowlands. Once you have reached this level, you will be able to purchase a Medallion of the Legion from the auction house. It is a good idea to have a Pathfinder before attempting to level your character.
For example, you can use the BFA Pathfinder achievement to unlock flying for all of your characters. You’ll need to complete the Legion Invasion quests in each zone before you can obtain this achievement. You can expect to get these quests sometime around April 4th, when the Legion Invasion hotfix is out. As with the Legion achievements, the Pathfinder achievement is account-wide, so completing Part One and Part Two will grant flying for all of your characters.
Unlocking flying in Broken Isles
Whether you’ve opted for the pre-Shadowlands or BFA Pathfinder, unlocked flying in Broken Isles is now easier than ever. As of the start of the BFA expansion, you can begin leveling in the Broken Isles right away. This means that the grind to unlock flying was much less challenging than in WoD, and you’ll have a full six hours to level up.
Currently, flying is restricted in Covenant zones like Maw, Oribos, and Korthia, but you can still fly there on ground mounts. Unlocking flying in the Broken Isles with BFA Pathfinder requires you to complete 100 Broken Isles world quests and the Class Order Hall campaign. It takes about 3-4 weeks to unlock flying in Broken Isles, but you can fly anywhere else once you complete the questline.
Once you unlock flying in Broken Isles, it’s time to grind in the other zones. Flying is available on account-wide achievements, which require completing certain quests. You can see the list of these achievements on Wowhead. You’ll also need to complete 100 World Quests in the starting zone. This is time-consuming, but is worth it when you can finally fly!
Earning achievements to unlock flying
Flying in the Shadowlands is unlocked by earning the Memories of Sunless Skies achievement. This achievement is account-wide for all characters level 50 or higher. The Memories of Sunless Skies achievement was introduced with Patch 9.2. This achievement will allow players to fly in the four main zones. This achievement requires time spent on the campaign, killing monsters and camping rare monsters. However, it is an achievable goal for seasoned players.
In order to earn the Flying in Shadowlands achievement, players need to complete 3 short storylines in the game. Each quest chain will consist of 5-7 separate quests, and should take no longer than 15 minutes each. However, some players have reported issues completing the quest “The Waters of Grace.” This quest can only be completed if you have finished the first chapter of the Zereth Mortis campaign, which is necessary to access the Lost Grace zone.
