Read on to discover the best ways to increase your resistance!

Poison

The Elden Ring has no immunity to poison or scarlet rot. You can increase your Immunity stat by adding points to your Vigor stat. However, this only increases your damage reduction while affected by the ailment, not the duration. It is best to carry a counter with you to be on the safe side if you’re going to frequent high-risk areas. Here’s a guide to immunity:

A potent cure for scarlet rot is the Flame, Cleanse Me Incantation, which can be found on a corpse at Fire Monk Camp. Flame, Cleanse Me is your last resort, as it will cure both Poison and Scarlet Rot. However, it will also damage your character, but it’s a worthy trade-off if you’re going to use Preserving Boluses.

Incantations

Elden Ring Incantations are the backbone of the Faith class. This expansion packs in a bunch of neat mechanics for the Faith class. Among them are electric javelins, morphin’ dragon heads, and a bunch of other stuff you probably wouldn’t normally expect to see in a Faith class. Then there’s the new ability to cast any spell you can think of using the Elden Ring as a weapon.

The most important stat for a Scarlet Rot build is Faith. Faith determines the effectiveness of your Incantations and Rot spells. Here’s a chart that explains which stats are most important to increase to prevent Scarlet Rot. I’ve taken the character to Level 150, and I started out as a Wretch. I haven’t tested this in-game yet, but it should be a good guide for you.

Items

In Elden Ring, there are many ways to counter the effects of poison and scarlet rot. In addition to taking damage, these enemies can also inflict status ailments. These ailments slowly decrease your health over time. There are several ways to counter the effects of these ailments, but not all of them are obvious. Here is a list of some useful tips and tricks for immune statuses.

The first step is to upgrade your Rotten Breath incantation. Rotten Breath costs a small amount of FP to use, but repeated usages drain the FP bar faster than Comet Azur. Although some enemies are immune to Scarlet Rot, you can use this ability to max out your damage output. You can even use it to get the same effect from a different enemy, such as the Scarlet Rot Dragon.

Quick travel

In order to get immunity to Scarlet Rot, you should first use Preserving Boluses, which are cave moss that can be crafted or bought in limited quantities. You can find them throughout the map, including the Leyndell Rotal Capital. Another place to find them is the Nomadic Merchant near the Aeonia Swamp Shore. If you’re having trouble finding them, you can learn how to make them yourself.

The next area to get immunity is the Lake of Rot. This secret area is accessible without completing any quest. It contains a large pool of Scarlet Rot, which builds a status effect over time. It also drains your health quickly and is much more dangerous than regular poison. This area is accessible through a secret lift in Elden Ring. Once you have accessed it, you’ll be able to enter the secret boss area.

Charms

The Elden Ring has many different Talismans that can help you with this quest. Some of the best immune charms are Immunizing Horn and White Cured Meat. These Talismans can be obtained from corpses or crafted. In order to make yourself immune to Scarlet Rot, you should craft a Crimson Tear Flask. This Talisman will increase your Immunity by one.

To find this Talisman, you need to go through the Ruins of Uhl Palace and run by the Ant Queen’s lair. You can also find an Immunizing Horn Charm by looting a corpse behind a Stinger Giant Ant. You can then make yourself immune to scarlet rot by equipping this charm. Using this Talisman will give you more Health and Resistance while in the rot-ridden areas.
