They would represent the most highly advanced spirituality in the galaxy, and their disappearance would have enormous ramifications on the future of the galaxy. The Bardottan mystics would be the most powerful and influential people on Bardotta, and they’d have a lot to gain from being a part of the Star Wars universe.

‘What If… Ultron Won?’ title

The ‘What If… Ultron Won’ title of episode eight of Star Wars: The Clone Wars is quite meta. While Avengers: Age of Ultron may have stopped the AI from inhabiting the Vision, in this episode, Ultron merges with Vision, steals the Infinity Gauntlet from Thanos, and wreaks havoc on the multiverse.

Though he has already killed many villains, Ultron has managed to survive in this episode, with only Arnim Zola remaining. This episode’s title is a nod to the ‘What If… Ultron Won?’ episode of Season 5.

Easter egg

The first Easter egg that was revealed in the “What If… Episode Eight” special was a reference to the Meiloorun fruit, Hera Syndulla’s favorite snack. The ring that he wears also contains an Easter egg: the Four Sages of Dwartii. These philosophers were influential in the early days of the Galactic Republic, and Emperor Palpatine even kept a statue of one of them in his office.

The plot of What If…? isn’t completely clear, but it seems like a lot of the characters are referenced in the comics and the movie franchise. Hawkeye and Black Widow are the last two Avengers left.
