Fans of Star Wars will be pleased to know that many episodes of How I Met Your Mother have made references to the film. Ted has drawn a topless Princess Leia, Lily dresses up as Darth Vader, and Ted watches the original trilogy every three years. Here are three of my favorite Star Wars references from the show. Hopefully, you’ll enjoy this article as much as I do!

The Broath
“The Broath” is one of the most popular episodes in the series, with viewers enjoying the mixture of comedy, romance, and drama. Barney, a sociopathic character, is revealed to be the perfect match for Quinn, who is a stripper. But the relationship between Barney and Quinn is troubled from the get-go, as his gang attempts to break it up.
After breaking up in Season 1, Marshall and Lily are exploring the single life, as they do in the episode “World’s Greatest Couple.” This makes it more realistic for them to be living a separate life and coping with each other’s shortcomings. But as “The Broath” demonstrates, a relationship can be very complicated. While there are many good reasons to love someone, finding the right person in a relationship is a big hurdle.
The Bro Mitzvah
In How I Met Your Mother star wars episode The Bro Mitzva, Barney has a bachelor party for his son, Teddy, in which he is a guest of honor. The party is at a dinky motel, where Barney hires a balloon contortionist clown and a stripper to entertain the guests. To top it off, he also invites Ralph Macchio, who plays a real Karate Kid, to perform at the party.
While the scene was a riot, the real plot twist in the episode was a surprise for anyone watching it. It was funny that Robin was able to plan the ultimate Bro Mitzvah for Barney. The moment she walked by, she high-fived Quinn and flashed back to moments before Barney’s party. He said that girls could not plan a Bro Mitzvah because they weren’t allowed to, but she knew that she could. She asked various people to help her with the event, and even had Barney go on an errand she knew he’d never get done.
‘Bad News’
In “How I Met Your Mother: The Star Wars Series,” the episode titled ‘Bad News’ follows Lily and Marshall as they visit a fertility clinic to get tested for infertility. Many fans assumed the title referred to a plot point involving the infertility problem, but this wasn’t the case. It was in fact a reference to the death of Marshall’s father, Marvin Sr., who passed away at 51. The countdown continued throughout the episode, culminating in a dramatic event for Marshall.
In “Bad News,” the gang recalls moments in which they staged interventions in order to make sure that Lily and Marshall weren’t having silly concerns. This is a good way to establish that there are some real concerns between the characters. The episode’s plot is a perfect example of a satirical way to show how much the show has evolved over the years.
Ted and Robin’s relationship
The relationship between Ted and Robin on How I Met Your Mother is a realism of sorts. While Robin and Ted were once together, the relationship wasn’t always easy. Initially, Ted is too eager to make Robin happy and so he ends up sleeping with her under the guise of breaking up with Victoria. This relationship isn’t exactly what Ted had in mind when he decided to sleep with Robin, so it’s not surprising that Ted finds it difficult to maintain a healthy one.
Unlike Ted’s first relationship with Robin, the pair’s relationship is based on friendship, not romance. Although Robin has been flirting with Ted in the past, Ted doesn’t feel like dating her. He wants a picket fence future for himself. However, Robin’s desire for a more serious relationship with Ted is more rooted in his need to find a man.
Slapsgiving
The How I Met Your Mother Star Wars episode was an unexpected hit that had viewers chuckling from start to finish. The episode featured an Ewok line that reflected the characters’ love of Star Wars. The episode also featured a construction site where Ted and Barney were stuck in a conference room because the construction site was closed to the public. The implication is that both of them loved Star Wars.
The premise for the episode is that two of the Eriksen kids are obsessed with Star Wars. In the “Star Wars” movie trilogy, Ted and Marshall have a tradition of binge watching the films every three years. They often fantasize about what life would be like if they lived in the future. While their friends are still in adolescence, they are starting to feel their way into adulthood.
The Naked Man
The Naked Man is a bizarre episode in How I Met Your Mother. Marshall is concerned about his clothes between sex and Robin, but he’s amazed that the Naked Man has worked on her. Lily tries to explain to Marshall why he called her a slut. Apparently, Marshall just read The Notebook. Lily tries to convince Marshall that she has 50 reasons to sleep with someone, but he won’t help her.
The storyline begins with Mitch lying naked on a couch. Robin and the gang are amused by this and joke about Robin shooting Mitch. They also discuss the fact that the Naked Man has a two-third success rate. Eventually, Mitch and Robin kiss, and Lily remembers her fight with Marshall. Mitch and Robin are reunited after a long time.
