Alice’s adventures in Wonderland
If you’re a fan of the classic story, you’ll love Alice’s adventures in Wonderland, the Hidden Object adventure game based on Lewis Carroll’s book. The game includes all of your favorite characters and a whimsical Wonderland setting. You’ll also encounter optical illusions and puzzles as you follow Alice on her journey. However, the game is not just about solving puzzles; it also includes minigames!
In the first episode of the series, we meet the young Alice. She is a child in the midst of a terrible time, with the Queen of Hearts putting the kingdom in shambles. Alice has to rescue her beloved country by making a champion out of herself. She is directed to an old gnome, who can reduce her size. Together, Alice and the gnome infiltrate the Fortress of Doors and create an elixir that will shrink her size and allow her to pass through to the Vale of Tears.
The Queen of Hearts
The Queen of Hearts is one of the most memorable Disney villains. She is a greetable character in Walt Disney World Resort, and also appears in the 1991 animated television series Adventures in Wonderland. She is voiced by Tress MacNeille. In addition to her role in the book, the Queen also appears in two other animated films: Heart no Kuni no Alice and Disney’s Villains’ Revenge. In the Disney TV series, she is also known as “The Red Queen.”
She appears in “”, which is constructed from Sora’s memory of Wonderland. She puts Alice on trial for aiding the Heartless. She is unaware of the memory she possesses, so she puts Sora forward as a thief, but cards begin attacking him. Soon after, Alice goes missing, and Sora finds out that the Queen has taken her memory. Eventually, she orders Sora’s arrest.
The Pigeon
The Pigeon first appears in Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures Under Ground. Most film adaptations of the book leave him out entirely, as it is difficult for live-action filmmakers to portray Alice with a serpentine neck. While many famous illustrated versions of Alice feature the pigeon, they are often secondary to the visually more appealing Alice. This game does feature some of these illustrations, however.
In the game, the pigeon mistakenly mistook Alice for a snake. As she crouched among the branches, her neck was getting entangled. Then, she remembered the mushroom in her hands. She began nibbling slowly on each piece, and her neck was gradually growing. In the end, the pigeon spotted Alice and mistakenly thought she was a serpent.
The Cheshire Cat
The Cheshire Cat is one of the main characters in the classic tale of Alice in Wonderland. This talking cat appears in the story and saves Alice from fire. Though she initially mistrusts him, she eventually comes to trust him. The Cheshire Cat has a philosophical and earnest attitude, and is a good companion to Alice. It is possible to play as either Cat or Dinah in this online game.
The characters in the game are not entirely faithful to the Disney animated version of Alice. Among the many differences are the names of the characters. The Cheshire Cat, for example, Took a Level in the Jerkass version of the book but later returned to his original role of kindness. As Alice tries to enlist the help of the Wonderland friends, she sometimes needs to go to the Cheshire Cat to solve her problems. In this game, she meets the mysterious Trickster Mentor.
