Han is a rogue character
The film “Han Solo” is set to release on May 25, 2018, and it stars Alden Ehrenreich as a young Han Solo. The plot centers around Han’s meeting with Qi’ra (Emilia Clarke) and his attempts to bribe an Imperial officer with coaxium, a powerful hyperspace fuel. Qi’ra is arrested before she can board the ship, and Han is forced to take matters into his own hands. The film follows Han’s life before the 1977 original, and references Han’s statement, “I have no people,” and his attempts to escape.
After the events of Return of the Jedi, Han returns to his old ways of smuggling. He captures the giant Rathtar, which kills his crew. Han refuses to join the rebellion, despite the fact that it is his duty to protect his former crew. After the Empire’s fall, the galaxy changed and the New Republic took control. The film is not without its moments of heroism, but this does not stop fans from admiring and respecting Han.
Luke is a hero
There are many reasons to think of Luke as a hero in Star Wars. He crosses a familiar boundary and makes two friends. He encounters an enemy in a bar and ends up saving two other characters, including Princess Leia. In his quest for survival, Luke also infiltrates the Death Star and destroys a tractor beam, which will allow him to escape. In the process, he sacrifices his own life and that of his friends, which causes him to experience physical, mental and emotional pain.
Throughout the films, Luke has proven his courage, including when he is forced to face the combined might of the Emperor and Darth Vader. His courage guides him to overcome his fears and defeat his enemies. And at the end, Luke is a hero, and fans can feel proud to have seen him shine. While there are many heroes in Star Wars, Luke stands out above the rest. He is a hero because he carries the inherent goodness of humanity, and we can identify with his heroic qualities.
Rey is a princess
The Star Wars character Rey is a princess. She has the power of a lightsaber and can summon it to defeat a cartoonishly evil emo-boy villain. Her powers allow her to overcome obstacles without much effort and defeat every foe. Unlike the Mary Sues of the past, she is no Mary Sue. She is a Disney Princess. Read on to discover more about the many ways Rey is a princess.
In the original trilogy, Rey is a princess who rejects her dark heritage and chooses to live in a light-hearted way. She takes BB-8 with her and returns to the Jedi Temple on Kordoku where she meets the younger Luke. Later, Rey and her friends escape on TIE whispers to a mysterious forest. In the next movie, Rey fights a new threat to the Empire: Anakin Skywalker. But Rey doesn’t stop there. She confronts Sidious and ends the rise of the Sith.
Luke is a smuggler
The name Luke comes from an obscure word, smuggler, that means “to smuggle.” The name has nothing to do with smuggling in the Star Wars universe. The word was originally a British English noun, meaning smuggler, and has been used to describe anyone who smuggles illegal goods. In Star Wars, Luke is one of the main characters.
The story of Luke begins between the first two films, Episodes IV and V. Luke is still recovering from the destruction of Death Star #1 and mourning the death of his mentor, Obi Wan. He is concerned about his lack of a mentor, but the Force calls him to a mysterious planet where he finds the ruins of an old Jedi Temple. There, he learns how to control the Force.
Darth Vader is a villain
Darth Vader is the antagonist of the original Star Wars trilogy. As an apprentice to Anakin Skywalker, Vader murdered his master, causing the Death Star to crash. He then claimed to be the heir to the Jedi Order, and offered to spare Ahsoka Tano’s life if she would tell him where the Jedi were hiding. However, when Ahsoka declined, Vader’s anger boiled over and he resolved to kill her, despite the compassion she had shown him.
Before he turned to the dark side, Vader was a brilliant tactician, leader, and engineer. His knowledge of the Force was unmatched, and his cybernetic reconstruction made it even more powerful. Sidious even complimented Vader’s strength and his ability to use Force powers. However, his bionics kept him on life support. Any Force ability would damage his bionics, making him impossible to use them.
