Cataclysm Items – Azshara’s Veil

Azshara’s Veil is an extremely useful item that you can use in a variety of Cataclysm recipes and consumables. It is especially useful for new Alchemists as they will use at least two stacks before they are ready to sell them. Additionally, this item can also be sold to scribes for use in making glyphs. It sells best in stacks of five to twenty and sells for 2 gold on most realms.

Farming Azshara’s Veil

Farmers of Azshara’s Veil have to be in the correct zones to find it. This resource is found in water, and therefore, you need to be a Herbalist of level 425 or higher in order to farm it. The best zones to farm Azshara’s Veil are the shores of Uldum. These areas are great for water walking characters, such as Death Knives, Shamans, and Druids with aquatic forms.

If you are in the crucible of Cataclysm, this is a good resource to farm. It is incredibly useful in crafting Cataclysm consumables, and it is a great way to level Alchemy. New Alchemists go through at least two stacks of Azshara’s Veil in their first few months. Once you have the requisite experience, you can sell the Veil to scribes for 2 gold per stack.

Making a potion with Azshara’s Veil

There are several ways to farm Azshara’s Veil. The best places to farm it are the northern reaches of the Twilight Highlands and the Tol Barad Peninsula. Water-walking characters like Death Knives and Shamans with aquatic form will get the best results from these zones. If you’re interested in making a potions with this herb, you can use any of these three methods.

The first method involves harvesting Azshara’s Veil, a rare item found in water. You’ll need additional materials to make the potion, and you can sell the rest to scribes for glyphs. Each Azshara’s Veil will yield a random amount of materials when crafted, but it’s worth trying it out!

Using it in crafting Cataclysm consumables

If you’re crafting consumables in the Cataclysm expansion, you can find Azshara’s Veil in three places. Tol Barad Peninsula is the best place to farm it, and you’ll find about six to eight nodes per trip, depending on your speed and the type of character you’re playing. For optimal results, use an elite shark like a tank or Death Knife.

In addition to crafting Cataclysm consumable items, Azshara’s Veil can be sold for gold to scribes. You can sell it for two gold per stack on most realms. As long as you have at least 425 herbalism and fisherman skills, you can make lots of gold by selling Azshara’s Veil.

Fishing for Azshara’s Veil

Those level 425 in herbalism and fishing can start farming for Azshara’s Veil in the Tol Barad Peninsula. You’ll also need a seahorse mount from Vashj’ir to go fishing in the area. Azshara’s Veil grows in areas near water, such as Mt. Hyjal and Vashj’ir, but you can also harvest it from any zone in Catalysm. Getting a seahorse mount will also help you earn a lot of gold.

You can fish for Azshara’s Veil anywhere in the Cataclysm zone, though the best place to catch it is in Uldum. Alternatively, you can try catching it in a number of locations along the southern coast. Drop rates are relatively similar no matter where you fish for it, so there’s no reason to limit your fishing to a particular location.
