To get to this area, you must press left or right on the d-pad to select the desired direction. In this area, you’ll meet Commander Niall, one of the toughest bosses in the game. Then, you’ll need to fight vulgar militia and octopus enemies to get to the treasure chest.

Getting to the Grand Lift of Rold
The second area in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is the Consecrated Snowfield. You must collect two pieces of Haligtree Medallion to activate the Grand Lift of Rold. This will allow you to reach the Consecrated Snowfield and the boss area. To get to this location, you must go straight southeast from the Village of the Albinaurics.
The first part of getting to the Grand Lift of Rold requires defeating the two shardbearers. Morgott is a boss that blocks the way to Erdtree. Once you defeat him, Melina will give you the Rold Medallion. From here, you can exit to the east and get to the Forbidden Lands.
Getting to the Catacombs
Getting to the Catacombs at Consecrated Snowfield is an optional area of the game. The area is incredibly large, with several mini-dungeons and sub-locations. You’ll need to deactivate a pillar of icy mist before you can enter. After gaining access to the Catacombs, you’ll need to go right, then turn left and climb a few stairs. Once inside, you’ll need to use your bow to deactivate a pillar in the next room.
Next, you’ll find the infamous Imp Head in the Catacombs of Consecrated Snowfield. The Catacombs are located southwest of the Inner Consecrated Snowfield Site of Grace, which is found in the western Mountaintops of the Giants. You’ll have to navigate a pillar emitting a deadly mist, so wait for it to clear, then take shelter in a small side room. After clearing the mist, you’ll find a room with the Imp Head.
Getting to the Haligtree Secret Medallion
Getting to the Haligtree Secret medallion requires the use of the Elden Ring. To use the Haligtree Secret Medallion, players must first stand near the Elden Ring and press a single or double button to change the dialogue option. Pressing the correct dialogue option should activate the Haligtree Secret Medallion and make the tablet and statues glow green or red. Once you activate it, you’ll enter a dingy castle where you’ll be able to pick up loot and fight enemies.
To get the Haligtree Secret Medallion, the player must first visit the Liurnia Lake Shore Grace Site. This area is home to the Haligtree Secret Medallion (Right). Once inside the huts, the player must defeat a hidden character. Fortunately, the hidden character is disguised as a pot. If the player hits the pot, Albus will reveal himself and give them the Haligtree Secret Medallion (Right).
Defeating Morgott in Leyndell
To obtain the Elden Ring, you must first defeat the boss in Leyndell, Morgott. Defeating Morgott will open the barrier blocking the east path out of Leyndell and give you access to Rold’s Grand Elevator. The ring you obtain will be used to protect your party.
To unlock the Consecrated Snowfield, you must travel to the region of Mountaintops of the Giants. To get there, use Torrent and fly over the Lands Between. Defeating Morgott will also grant you the Rold Medallion of Melina, which is the Rold Ring. The other way to get the Elden Ring is by defeating Morgott in Leyndell.
Getting to the Yelough Anix Ruins
To get to the Yelough Anix Ruin, you have to go southwest from the Consecrated Snowfield. This area contains a treasure chest with the Unendurable Frenzy Incantation, a rare item that is not found anywhere else. However, if you have a secret medallion, you can use it at the Grand Lift of Rold to get there.
The Yelough Anix Ruins are located west of the second Moving Caravan and southeast of the Mohgwyn’s Palace. The area is guarded by a pair of Ancestral Followers who will guard the player’s body. The ruins are underground and have walls on all sides. The Torrent and Troll abilities will help you to jump over these walls.
