Building a weapon heavy in Elden Ring involves pumping up your Strength stat. Big weapons need big muscles and the game’s lore revolves around praying for thunderous blows. A strength build involves pumping up Strength to 80, but there are some things you should keep in mind before beginning the build. You may be surprised to learn that you can get by with a lower Strength level than you think.

Speaking to a blacksmith
Making an Elden Ring weapon heavy is easy enough. You can find the first blacksmith in Roundtable Hold. Speaking to Melina will open the Way of Eldritch Crafting Hub. If you haven’t already done so, you can go here to start. This hub is dedicated to the Elden Ring and features a guide to weapon crafting. Then, talk to the blacksmiths in that area to make the necessary changes.
