The first part of Elden Ring’s campaign involves exploring an open world. This open world can be frustrating, as you can easily end up at a dead end or die in the process. However, as the game progresses, it becomes less frustrating, thanks to the helpful NPCs who offer you a clear path to follow. Ultimately, you must defeat the evil spirits that spawn in the world, including Margit the Fell Omen, Godrick the Grafted, Red Wolf of Radagon, and Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon.

Divine Tower of Liurnia
To complete this quest, you will have to reach the top of the Carian Study Hall by using a special item. To enter the Divine Tower of Liurnia, you must first clear the Carian Study Hall of all loot. After doing so, you will need to invert the Carian Study Hall, which will change the area and make any items you collected before inverting inaccessible.
After defeating Astel, you can enter the Moonlight Altar, where the end of Ranni’s questline takes place. This location is bathed in moonlight from two moons. Afterwards, you can fight Alecto, the hardest Evergaol boss. You can also find the Dark Moon Greatsword in the Cathedral of Manus Celes.
Lakeside Crystal Cave
When you’ve defeated the Full Moon Queen and have the Elden Ring, the next step is to find the Crystal Cave. This location is located on the southern edge of Liurnia, just south of Scenic Isle. Because the cave is not a cliff, the opening of this cave is the same elevation as the water to its north. Once you’ve reached the Cave, the next quest NPC is Latenna.
After you’ve found the ring, you can continue to the next step, Lakeside Crystal Cave. It’s a dark, cramped dungeon, full of enemies waiting to jump on you. While you’re in here, it’s worth noting that it’s not as difficult as it looks. The key here is to use area-of-effect attacks to avoid the crystal snails’ breath.
Leyndell
If you are looking to complete the Moon Queen questline in Final Fantasy XIV, the Royal Capital of Leyndell is the place to go. It is a labyrinth of dungeons that contain tenacious enemies and a boss with superb swordplay. A walkthrough of this area will help you defeat all the enemies, gather all the necessary items, and eventually defeat Morgott, the Omen King. To get there, head to the gates near the Altus Plateau.
Once you have obtained the Elden Ring, you can visit Fort Faroth and the Atlus Plateau. The Grand Lift of Dectus is the fastest way to reach this area. Fort Haight and Fort Faroth are also good places to find the Dectus Medallion. Obtaining it at low levels can be tricky, but is still possible. The Grand Lift of Rold is also located in Leyndell.
