The first movie in the saga is the classic ‘A New Hope’. This movie has a slew of great characters, but one character stands out as a standout among the rest.
Almost every character from the movies is in the series. But how many people actually know about them? Swiss researchers recently estimated the total number of Star Wars characters. This figure is not limited to the films, but also includes many more characters and story elements from other media. The researchers studied the Wookieepedia, a fan-maintained encyclopedia that spans more than three thousand years of the story. And if you’re curious about how many characters are in Star Wars, don’t worry!
The oldest character in the series is called “Father,” but he was killed during the Clone Wars. His successors include Bendu, the younger son of Jabba the Hutt. According to some estimates, the eldest character is actually Mama the Hutt, who was the grandmother of Jabba the Hutt. She was born about 1021 BBY, making her one of the oldest confirmed sentient characters in the Star Wars series.
Boba Fett
The number of Star Wars characters is undoubtedly staggering. They live on at least 640 different communities on two94 planets, with the majority being human. Even with so many characters, you’re bound to find a character you love. And the question of “How many characters are in Star Wars?” will surely keep you guessing for a while. But before we get started, let’s quickly examine what makes each character so beloved.
As Star Wars continues to become a franchise, the number of playable characters increases as well. The game Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga features all nine main films and features a massive cast of characters. Some of these characters are more well-known than others, and there are even some obscure ones. In addition to the classic Star Wars movies, the game includes characters from spin-offs and Disney+ shows.
Agent Kallus
How many characters are in Star Wars Agent Kallos? He’s the third main character from the prequel trilogy. He was a soldier in the Empire, and is also the friend of Zeb. The two meet in a battle, and Zeb saves Kallus from death. The two end up being friends, and they form a bond over their shared experiences. After Zeb’s death, Kallus returns to the Empire as a spy, but not before doing a favor for the Rebels.
In the prequel trilogy, Kallus was an Imperial operative who believed in bringing order to the galaxy. During his tenure in the Empire, he fought Saw Gerrera on the planet Onderon, took part in genocide on the planet Lasan, and led the hunt for Ghost on the planet Lothal. Although he was mostly unsuccessful in his efforts on Lothal, he was part of a larger force that went against the rebellion.
Satine Kryze
Known as a Mandalorian duchess, Satine Kryze is one of the many recurring characters in Star Wars: The Clone Wars series. Satine had a romantic relationship with the former Jedi Master, Obi-Wan Kenobi. Both stayed true to their oaths and did not engage in any violence, but their different roles often lead to tension. As Obi-Wan struggles to find peace, Satine reminds him of the alternative path.
In Star Wars: The Clone War, Satine is introduced before most of the main characters. The plot centers on a coup d’etat by the Death Watch, a terrorist organization headquartered on the Mandalorian moon Concordia. When Obi-Wan and the Jedi learn of the coup, they begin investigating and eventually discover Satine is building a secret army. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister Almec brushes off the bounty hunter Jango Fett as nothing more than a bounty hunter. Interestingly, Lucas and Filoni did not know of the controversy surrounding Jango Fett’s appearance.
