The final episode of the current season, “City of Mistake,” sees the four remaining Ninja leave for a mission against the stone giant Colossus. During their quest, they encounter the ruthless Shadow Ninja, Pythor, and the Sons of Garmadon. As the two groups battle, the four of them find themselves in the Realm of Oni and Dragons, where they are hunted by the dark forces of the enemy.
During the season finale, the ninja and other characters find themselves in a strange new city. Sensei Wu and Lloyd have gone undercover as a dance troupe to enter the talent contest. The prize is a cup containing one of the Fangblades. When they reach the junkyard, Cole and the others are attacked by a mysterious figure who leaves a white scale behind. Later, they are reunited with the other ninja, including Unagami.
Season 15 will feature the character Nya, a teenager who develops elemental powers and connects with an ancient mythical creature that lives deep in the sea. As she loses her ability to remain on land, she is forced to become one with the sea. During the show, she meets her father, who chides her for stealing the cup. She decides to prove her father proud and wins the cup. But, as the stage collapses, Pythor and his Shadows take the cup. Sensei Wu and Garmadon are left to deal with the aftermath of the destruction of the city.
The season premiere of Season 18 of Ninjago is called “The Ultimate Battle”, and it’s preceded by Season 17 in which the Corrupted Ninja serve as the main antagonist. As the story unfolds, the Corrupted Ninja, as well as two other Vermillion warriors, threaten the fate of the remaining Ninja. As the characters fight the Dark Spinjitzu Master, the characters also encounter an old enemy, the Corrupted ninja, the ‘Devourer’.
In Season 8, the four Ninja go undercover as a dance troupe and enter the talent contest to win the Super-Weapon. In the talent competition, the prize is “The Blade Cup” containing one of the Fangblades. In this episode, the Ninja are attacked by a giant scarab beetle. They escape, but get trapped in the desert.
After the last season, the ninjas return to the city of Spinjitzu. They discover that the ninjas have turned into a soft, lazy breed. To gain back their ninja-shape, they embark on a new quest. The series will continue until the very end of season 10. While it’s not confirmed at the moment, the next season of Ninjago will most likely end in the same way as the previous seasons.
