How to Find the World of Warcraft Dressing Room

World of Warcraft players have long wished for a dressing room. This convenient area of the game allows players to visualize their items and see how they will look when equipped. However, locating the dressing room in-game is not always possible, especially for those who aren’t sure where to start. Here are some tips and tricks for dressing up in World of Warcraft:

Bugs

In World of Warcraft, there are several bugs in the dressing room. For example, players are not able to view the reward of a quest if the reward is hidden in the chest or is not visible to others. You can view your reward by Ctrl+Left-Clicking the icon. Your friend or guild mate will be able to see what you’re wearing by clicking the icon.

New features

World of Warcraft has added new features to the Dressing Room. By clicking an icon, players can preview how they would look wearing an item. This works with any item linked in chat. You can also use the dressing room in the Auction House interface. To use the dressing room, players must first activate the feature by checking the Display on Character box. They can then Left-Click the item to see how it would look on them.

Players can now share links to transmog outfits with other players. This feature is currently only available in the PTR, but Blizzard has confirmed that the feature is coming to the live game sometime in the future. Once you’ve made your own outfit, you can share the link with other players. If you want to share an outfit, you can even mouse-over the items and see how to collect them. Besides sharing outfit links, players can now save outfits they’ve created.

Configuring undressing

For a quick way to configure undressing in the World of Warcraft dressing room, you can use the slash command /drf, which has a few downsides. One of them is that the last queued item is not always resolved on the first try, and Lua will die. However, there is an alternative method of bypassing the item check, which involves keybinding a /drf command to the character’s hotkeys.

Another way to configure your World of Warcraft dressing room is by editing your character’s appearance. By selecting an appropriate option for undressing, you can show your skivvies or any other clothing that is more conservative. You can also switch to your target model, which is handy if you’re trying on the druid form or want to test the armor of a different gender. These are Blizzard API functions and are rarely used in game, depending on the situation.

Exporting entire transmogs to MogIt

Exporting entire transmogs to MogIT is a great way to save time while dressing. The application lets you browse through all of your armor and weapon combinations and create sets of combinations you can then transmog onto other characters. This way, you can see exactly what your character would look like in each piece and the combinations you can create. To open the interface of MogIt, type /mogit in the chat or click on the Greater Cosmic Essence icon on your World of Warcraft minimap. You can adjust the window by dragging the lower left corner.

There are several improvements to MogIt. You can now view and manage your complete transmog set from the Collection Sets menu. You can also hide or show the individual slots, or toggle between full sets and set pieces. These improvements make your transmog experience easier and more organized. Better Wardrobe & Transmog adds new features to the Collection Journal and Transmog Vendor, including the ability to print collection alerts in your chat window.
