The pre-Legion patch for World of Warcraft has changed several things in the game. Rings, cloaks, and neck items are no longer tied to specific primary or secondary stats, and Spirit, Bonus Armor, and Multistrike have been removed from these items. Some Trinkets from Warlords have been restored to their original power levels, and set bonuses from previous expansions have been removed, but their text describing their former function remains.

Changes to the PvP Reward System
In the World of Warcraft pre-Legion patch, players will now be able to earn more gold and experience by participating in PvP. In addition, many sources of gold have been reduced or removed. Players will no longer be able to find equippable items in the Salvage Yard. The new rewards will be distributed according to the number of kills the character has made, based on their Mastery level.
The first victory in PvP in each rated bracket will now give players a unique piece of gear based on their rating. This bonus will be applied to all PvP brackets, including the Arena. In addition, players will also receive gear based on their match score. The rewards will be more varied as well, as gears that are socketed or have tertiary stats will now have a higher chance of dropping than those that are not socketed.
The cost to upgrade unrated gear has been reduced by 25%. Conquest and Honor costs are now spread out across new ranks. The Pandaren racial ability Quaking Palm is no longer passive. This change also prevents Horde reinforcements from destroying an Alliance gate, and the Orb of Power no longer respawned when passed to a player who had immunity to damage.
Changes to the Quest Tracker
The changes to the Quest Tracker in World of Warscraft are not all bad. Several notable changes to the tracker are listed below. In addition, Stitchflesh’s Creation now hits Wo, Vy and Urh automas with Meat Hook instead of hitting a player directly with a slingshot. Also, Vault Purifiers no longer attack players when they land. And lastly, the Sandworn Chest minimap icon no longer shows after a player has looted it. This makes the chests easier to loot for more people.
New UI: In addition to the changes to the Quest Tracker, the new window displays quests in an intelligent way, making it easier for players to find what they need. In addition, it also displays all quests associated with an area or zone. The map also displays progress, and is zoomable using the scroll wheel or the click-and-hold panning gestures. The new window fades to show the landscape and map simultaneously when the player is moving.
A bug with the combat log display has been fixed. Additionally, the damage caused by Unstable Cores has been reduced by 33% on Mythic and Heroic difficulty. In addition, a bug related to the ability to use the Raid’s Mount Form to interact with Volatile Charges was fixed. Additionally, an issue involving the use of the Personal Containment Trap Toy has been fixed, requiring a player to engage in combat with the toy to activate it.
Changes to the leveling experience in Shadowlands
Blizzard has made changes to leveling in the Shadowlands, including a new quest chain, a 5% damage increase, and better item drops. Other changes include bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. Auction houses now display the buyer and bidder names of items they have sold, and commodities are sold by the stack they are in instead of the entire inventory. In addition, personal auctions now show the amount of time left before the auction ends. Also, battle pets can be filtered by level now. Additionally, there are now a number of changes to the Black Market Auction House, including the “Runecarving” option on all profession-crafted armor and Legendary items. Regardless of what class you choose to play, the content update will make leveling in the Shadowlands a much more enjoyable experience.
Besides the new quests, the pre-patch also includes several class design changes. While many players relish the pre-patch period because it means they get to test new features, others enjoy pushing the limits of the game to find out how broken it can be. Listed below are the major changes that will affect the leveling experience in the Shadowlands. Please review the notes carefully before purchasing items from the game store.
