In order to get a fishing rod in Genshin Impact, you’ll need to complete the Exploding Population quest, get a Serenitea Pot, and visit Katheryne in the Adventurer’s Guild in Mondstadt. Serenitea Pot
The first thing you need to do if you want a fishing rod is to buy one from the Fishing Association in the world of Serenitea Pot. Each region has different types of fish and a fishing rod for that region is the only way to catch them. To obtain a fishing rod, go to a Fishing Point and choose a bait. Different types of bait will attract different kinds of fish. Some types of fish are hard to catch. Once you catch a fish, it will be sent to your Serenitea Pot inventory.
Alternatively, you can go fishing in Serenitea Pot as soon as you’ve completed a certain quest. To do this, you’ll have to have reached Adventure Rank 30 and completed the quest Exploding Population. To find this, you will need to head to the Serenitea Pot and then head south, and then go eastward to the north. After you’ve done this, you will notice that the fishing rod is a new item.
In the meantime, if you’d rather fish for ornamental fish, you can purchase bait from the Kujirai Momiji. Fishing with these fish will grant you with Hero’s Wit, Sanctifying Unction, and Mystic Enhancement Ore. Once you’ve acquired all three items, you’ll be ready to start fishing in Serenitea Pot!
You can also purchase a fishing rod from the Fishing Association of Mondstadt. This NPC is located outside the city walls on the northeast side. The Wishmaker fishing rod is available from Liyue’s Fishing Association. Using the Wishmaker fishing rod will give you the blueprint needed for an ornamental pond. You can also obtain the Wishmaker fishing rod from the Inazuma Fishing Association, located near a waypoint on the Narukami Island between Inazuma City and Amakane. This NPC will give you a Narukawa Ukai and ‘The Catch’ polearm weapon, and the Wishmaker fishing rod is a rare item in Serenitea Pot.

In the game, you can catch fish by using fishing rods in one of the various fishing spots. In the Tevyat fishing mini-game, you have access to around 20 kinds of fish. In order to catch them, you must time your reactions correctly. You can make your own bait by using different materials found around the world. The first fishing rod you can buy is free, and you can get the others from Nantuck.
The fishing rod can be obtained by following a questline that leads to the Mondstadt Adventurers’ Guild. After completing the quest, you’ll be able to speak with Nantuck outside the city walls and get a fishing rod. In this game, it’s best to cast your line near ripples in bodies of water. It’s also best to avoid aggressive actions while fishing in Genshin Impact.
Another way to get a fishing rod is to complete the Exploding Population quest. This quest rewards you with a Wilderness Rod, which doesn’t require equipping. This fishing rod can be changed in the same way as bait. After getting it, you can practice with it in a fishing spot. By gaining experience in Genshin Impact, you can unlock new fishing rods and baits.
Obtaining a fishing rod in Genshin Impact is a great way to level up your character and to meet new people. The first step is to reach Adventure Rank 30.
