Are There Any Pokemon Games For PS3?

While Pokemon has been a Nintendo product for over 20 years, that doesn’t mean that the franchise hasn’t made it to Sony platforms. In fact, Game Freak, the company behind Pokemon games, is set to launch a new title on PlayStation 4 later this year. Little Town Hero, a RPG that focuses on the characters of the franchise, is being ported to the PlayStation 4 as well.

Monster Hunter

While it is not an overly complex game, the main draw to Monster Hunter for PS3 is the wide variety of items you can find. While the game does not have an elaborate storyline, it does have cut-scenes that you can access via the gallery mode. You can also complete some quests to unlock additional content. Because there are no predetermined endings, you can complete the game as many times as you want without feeling rushed or bored.

The game takes place in a shared low fantasy world where human-like species have developed pre-industrial technology. These civilizations still study the ruins of advanced civilizations, but monsters roam the less-populated areas and threaten small villages and research bases. Players take on the role of a Hunter and explore the game world. These players must complete quests to hunt monsters and gather information on their origin. Each game is different, with over 200 quests to complete.

In the Japanese gaming market, Nocturne received favorable reviews. Atlus released a second print after the initial release in Japan, in response to fan demand. The game was also popular in Japan, inspiring a light novel and drama CD. As it was the first mainline Shin Megami Tensei title to be released in the western world, Nocturne’s success led to an announcement that the game would be successful commercially in the west.
