Griffins are the most feared enemy in Ark Survival Evolved, and you’re probably wondering where to find them. In the Lost Island map, you’ll see that griffins spawn in the NE and SW corners. Luckily, the coordinates for these two locations were recently updated, so you don’t have to spend too much time searching for these dangerous beasts.

Forgelands are the best place to hunt griffins
The best place to hunt Griffins is in the Forgelands. This region has the highest percentage of Griffin respawns and is where you should be looking for these elusive monsters. Although there are several locations to hunt Griffins in Ark: Lost Island, the Forgelands are the best choice if you want to take your hunting to a new level. While any of these locations are worth hunting, the Forgelands have the most Griffins and the highest respawn rate.
If you’re looking for a great area to hunt Griffins in Ark: Lost Island, the Forgelands are the best place to do so. The first thing you should do is go to Clashing Rocks, which is a small island with a Guarded Chest. This is the last land patch before the map dissolves into water. If you’re lucky, you can even find a Griffin on Clashing Rocks.
Argys are a flying mount
Among all the different kinds of animals in the game, Argys are the most versatile. They are great carriers, have high stamina, and are capable of carrying two riders. They can be found in Mount Bin Da on the Lost Island map. These animals are useful for many purposes, from carrying items to acting as aerial shooting platforms. They also make great taming assistants, and can be used as a flying base to support Wyverns and other creatures.
Argys have great flying speed. They can cover long distances quickly, and they deal a lot of damage when diving. They can also outmaneuver enemies. Besides being fast, they can also pick up and carry other creatures and survivors, like small dinosaurs. They can even carry 3 survivors at one time, and can even take on a human passenger.
Quetzals are a flying tame
You can tame a Quetzal if you can snag its parachutes. Once tamed, it cannot attack you and will stay in the cage until you release it. The best way to catch one is to use a net projectile for a harpoon and shoot it until it passes out. You can use another flying creature to follow the Quetzal.
There are two locations for griffins to spawn in the game: the NE and SW corners of the island. They also appear in the Corsair Peaks area on the Lost Island map. While they’re difficult to find, they’re worth it if you’re looking for a good carrier. Quetzals are also useful for hunting Wyvern eggs. Depending on their level, they make great companions.
The Floating Continent is accessible with the Pteranodon, Argentavis, and Quetzalcoatlus. These tames are a valuable resource, as they can be used to create kibble or tame other creatures. Similarly, the Ark contains a number of creatures that are tameable, like the Giganotosaurus and the Giant Mochis.
Griffins are a deadly enemy
The game has numerous enemies and you will be faced with many challenges as you try to survive in the wild. In early versions of Ark, you will face real dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures. Later versions added mythical creatures and original creations to the game. Some of these enemies include the Griffin, Karkinos, Velonasaur, Enforcer, Scout, and much more. The game is not yet available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch.
