Changes to Assassination Rogue’s combat system
The Assassination Rogue’s combat system has undergone a few tweaks with patch 7.2. In particular, the Assassination Rogue’s damage is now more powerful and her abilities now do more damage. Some of the major changes to the Assassination Rogue’s damage system are outlined below. The following abilities have been changed: Crippling Poison, Nightblade, and Silence. While these spells are not as effective in PvP, they do still cause significant damage. These new effects are not immediately visible; they will only be available after server maintenance.
The AoE damage from Feint is now reduced by 0.2 seconds when active. This change is designed to protect Rogues in PvP, but it should also help in raids and dungeons. The damage reduction from Insignia of Ravenholdt should also make it easier for Rogues to deal with enemies that are out of their line of sight.
The Assassination Rogue has seen a significant amount of change since the last major update. With a new raid, players will face Illidan again, and their item level will be scaled to 141. They will also be able to equip new gear throughout the raid, and legendary items will be given different buffs. While this may not seem like a significant change, the changes are important and will make it easier to play this character class.
Redesign of Fortune Strikes
Redesign of Fortune Strikes has been introduced in World of Warcraft patch 7.2. This new addition increases Combat Potency proc rate by 2% per point. Previously, combat potency would generate +1 Energy per proc. The new change makes the weapon produce twice as much damage, requiring only 20 energy. The new squirtle also possesses better attack and defense stats.
The PTR version of the new patch will allow you to test out this newest addition to the World of Warcraft game. The PTR version of the new patch will be available for testing after the release of patch 7.1.5. World of Warcraft players will also be able to try out the new features in the Tomb of Sargeras after the launch of Patch 7.1.5.
Changes to Skullblaster’s cooldown
This patch makes several changes to the Skullblaster’s cooldown. The Aspect of the Wild now reduces the global cooldown of all damaging spells by 0.2 seconds while it’s active. The Aimed Shot and Piercing Shot bonuses have also been decreased. The Vulnerable bonus has also been reduced to 30% from 100%. In addition, the Skullblaster’s cooldown is now three minutes, making it less convenient to use while raiding.
Prepared now generates 100 Fury for 10 seconds. Demonic Infusion no longer increases the damage of the spell. Demon Spikes will now only be extended for three times their base duration. The last resort effect has been changed to only absorb 200% of a target’s maximum health. These changes should make this legendary ability more powerful for high-end PvP teams.
The new cooldowns for Holy Priests and Paladins have been reduced as well. Holy Priests can now equip the Skull of Nithogg and the Skull of Shar’thos, both of which are available for purchase from the Legion’s official vendor. They can also now be obtained as a drop from the Skyhold Chest of Riches for Warriors who have obtained the Arena Order Hall Perk. Finally, Crates of Bobbers should no longer drop for players who already know how to use them.
