Despite the number of different options, the game’s gloves are generally divided into two categories: Revenants and Vambraces. Here’s a look at each class and how they differ from each other. In addition to the class-specific gloves, Revenants are the best choice for raiding purposes. Goldsmith gauntlets are also an excellent choice for raiding and provide additional defensive benefits.

Vambraces
Vambraces for osr’s ranger class are a versatile piece of hand armour. They give a +8 range attack bonus and basic magic and melee defence bonuses. These vambraces are fairly cheap to obtain, and many players use them to tank in the wilderness. However, if you want a more advanced version, you must be at least level 70 ranger to wear them. You can either buy these vambraces or craft them yourself. It requires crafting skill level 32.
The first part of crafting vambraces is to obtain leather. This material is obtainable from the Shayzien Encampment and grants Crafting experience. Then, you must gather eight snakeskins. You can gather snake skins by killing bush snakes on Karamja or by catching prickly kebbits. However, it is highly recommended to have at least level 32 of Crafting to manufacture this armour.
Goldsmith gauntlets
There are so many options for the glove slot in OSRS that it can be difficult to figure out which ones are the best. While the simplest gloves are often the most useful, some may be better than others, and some may be better than others. These are the best gloves on OSRS because they provide a hefty +12 boost to all stats, including magic. Almost any style of play will benefit from a pair of these gloves, but they are especially great for content that requires a variety of attacks.
To get a pair, you must first complete the Family Crest’s Quest mode. You can also buy a pair of steel gloves and use them as an alternate option. You can also wear them as a backup if you don’t have enough gold. They’ll also stack with the Tome of fire, which is the best item to have in the mine. However, this option is not very cheap, as it costs 25k.
Ferocious gloves
A pair of ferocious gloves is a powerful item in the OSRs. These gloves increase combat stats, including maximum hit, but they are locked behind high-level requirements, including 80 Attack and Defense. They are not tradeable and must be obtained by completing a quest. These gloves are particularly useful for high-level PvM and fighters, where they will increase a character’s damage output and power.
Despite their high-level requirements, ferocious gloves are still better than the Barrows gloves. They give the highest strength and magic bonus, but only slightly more than Barrows gloves. As an added bonus, you can obtain them from the culimancer’s chest in Lumbridge Castle in under 50 hours. Even though they are a clear downgrade compared to ferocious gloves, they are easy to obtain and can be an effective alternative.
Revenants
Revenants are a tough mob found in the Wilderness. They are best fought with low-cost gear or no gear. The most effective weapon against them is the Blowpipe, though other weapons will do the job. Revenants are weak to Crush, so other attack styles will still work against them. The best gloves for them are the leather ones. You should also use the charging glory amulet to teleport to them.
Revenants offer little experience and only give one combat XP per damage dealt. However, their defence and difficulty level make them great for camping and other tough situations. While you’re hunting them, you’ll find some rare drops ranging from coins to Ancient Warriors’ Equipment. You can heal revenants for a limited number of times, which is very useful when mining Rune Ore.
