New points system for archaic emblems
With the recent Bounty Hunter rework, it’s clear that archaic emblems are no longer viable. The old points system for archaic emblems will be removed, but those who already have them can still sell them at the Emblem Trader. It seems like a good compromise for both sides. If the new system is a success, archaic emblems could be included in the game.
As for the Looting bag, it will only be temporary. It’s important to note that it will be removed once the Beta is over. The removal of archaic emblems has caused many players to ask how Wilderness Slayer will continue to be profitable without them. However, the new points system doesn’t eliminate the looting bags entirely. In addition to the new system, Dagon’hai robes and Clue Boxes will still be available.
New rewards for completing a task
After the recent changes to the Wilderness Slayer quest, you can now obtain a rune pouch by completing an activity with the Archaic emblem. This pouch can be bought for 750 slayer reward points, or from Justine’s stuff for 75 Last Man Standing points. The note can also be exchanged for a rune pouch. This change will help those who have a hard time earning the coveted rune pouch.
No longer available to purchase
The archaic emblem is no longer available for purchase in the game. This item used to be a banknote and a reward from Bounty Hunter. Before the rework in 2019, Mysterious emblems were tradeable, stackable, and would eventually become banknotes. Bounty Hunter reworked Mysterious emblems into Archaic emblems. Players who had a Mysterious emblem at the time received this unique, discontinued variant.
Despite the lack of availability of the archaic emblem in the game, it still can be obtained from bounty hunter drop tables. However, they are no longer protected and remain on the player’s character during PvM. Players can still spend the points from previous bounty hunter missions in the previous Bounty Hunter shop. The Decorative Emblems and Bounty Crate are no longer available in the game. But the existing ones can still be purchased by paying 75 Last Man Standing points and trading them for other items. Similarly, w45 Deadman can still give Archaic Emblems and they are not in the new version of the shop.
