The Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies mode is extensive and the game’s Zombies map, The Giant, is a reimagining of the classic Treyarch Zombies map Der Riese. The Giant previously only appeared as part of the Xbox One or PC special edition, making it an expensive buy-in. However, the map is now available as a stand-alone DLC for Xbox One and PC, with an Xbox 360 version coming soon from Activision.

Der Riese is a remake of Black Ops 3’s Zombies map
In addition to the new “Origins” Zombies map, Treyarch has also released a remake of Black Ops 3’zombies map called “Der Riese.” This remake is available for the game’s standard Season pass and may cost a few dollars. The maps in the Season Pass will be available for free, while standalone map packs will cost extra.
Previously, “Der Riese” was only available as part of the Hardened Edition, Juggernog Edition, and Digital Deluxe Editions. However, the map is now available for $5.99 on its own. The “Nuketown” Zombies map, which was previously only available in the Hardened Edition, was later made available as a standalone download.
The gameplay in Der Riese follows a Nazi factory’s plot, with the first room in the outside factory. Players will have to take two staircases to reach the Mainframe and power generator. The second staircase leads along one of four barricades to combat zombies. There are several perks available in Der Riese, including gold Wunderwaffe DG-2.
It is available as a standalone DLC

I’d recommend purchasing the Giant DLC as part of a bundle with the game’s Season Pass, but if you’re not in the market for a season pass, don’t miss out on this new expansion.

You can also get one by completing the story mode and defeating the giant in battle. However, be aware that not all territories have the DLC season pass. You should check the release dates before purchasing the season pass. In addition, you may be required to purchase the game to use the DLC.
