Pierce
There’s a huge question that has plagued gamers for years: Can Pierce save Bradley Call of Cthulhu? It’s a big question with no definite answer, but I’d argue that he can. There are many reasons why. Lovecraft’s work isn’t really real. While Marie Colden was an all-over-the-place, insane person injected with the Leviathan’s oil, and was eventually cultish. And while I’m sure the lovecraftian elements aren’t real, the characters are.
Colden
In this sequel to the Call of Cthulhu, the main character, Pierce, is found dead at the hands of Fuller. He has also killed Sarah Hawkins, who was a friend of Pierce’s. Colden is also discovered in a bookstore, where she is injected with the mysterious Leviathan Oil. It turns out that the oil was regenerative, causing her leg to grow back.
Bradley
The first time I played the Call of Cthulhu series, I was skeptical, but after a few plays I found myself addicted to the character, Bradley. This private investigator is plagued with nightmares and cannot stop climbing and thinking. He also eats the flesh of Leviathans. The game features a large number of options and choices, and I even learned a little about the author. There is an optional “default” ending, where you will have to choose an answer from the R’lyehian language nine times.
Francis
A long-time background character in the television series, the character of the slumbering Francis has been revealed to be an extraterrestrial from planet Kokujon whose powers can save his life in some ways. He is actually a Gok’Zarah who was abandoned by his biological parents and left to fend for himself in space. While his appearances in this series are few and far between, he still makes occasional appearances.
The Shambler
The Shambler is a mythical creature which cannot be fought. It spawns when players interact with a painting in the Art Gallery or the wife of the dead collector. Hence, it is important to be careful when fighting the Shambler and be aware of its appearance. If the player has a good weapon, it can be used to stab the painting and save Bradley.
Default ending
There are multiple ways to end Bradley Call of Cthulhu. There’s the default ending, where Edward carries out the ritual exactly as he planned, and there’s the end of the game where he saves Algernon Drake. But for the true ending, you must choose the other option to save Algernon Drake. To do so, you must focus your lantern and tell Edward the truth about Marie Colden.
Ways to save characters
While it might seem like you have to use every character in the game, there are ways to save characters in Call of Cthulu. One way is to change the lore of the game. For example, in the game of Terror, the Deep Ones do not shed their scales, but you can change that by changing some of the settings. You should know that the game can be a little bleak at times, but it can be highly rewarding if you use the game to its fullest potential.
