You can also get help from locals to find Adventus Aretino, who lives in the Aretino Residence. Head north and turn left. You will see him in the north. Just follow him and he will show you the path to the quest’s destination.
You can also kill the other members of the guild in the quest “Astrid’s Cure” by talking to her. When you reach her, you will get a quest that asks you to kill Alain Dufont. To get started, go to the city of Markarth and find Hag’s Cure, which is located on the left of the Silver Blood Inn.
Quests to wipe out the Brotherhood
Once you’ve joined the Dark Brotherhood, you can take on any number of quests to rid the world of the evil cult. One of the easiest quests to complete is ‘Innocence Lost,’ which involves killing an assassin who kidnaps or abducts children. You’ll get to this quest by traveling to Riften and entering the Honorhall Orphanage.
After you’ve completed this quest, you’ll find a letter addressed to the Dark Brotherhood. Once you give it to him, he will tell you that they know your location, and he’ll direct you to a courier. The courier will track you for 24 hours, and then hand you a note that reads, ‘We know where you are’. This will begin the process of joining the Dark Brotherhood.

How to get into the Brotherhood sanctuary
To obtain a key to enter the Brotherhood sanctuary, you must first kill Grelod the Kind in Falkreath. This can be done by talking to Astrid in Windhelm. She will tell you the location of the Brotherhood base and the secret code to unlock the Sanctuary’s dark door. Once you have done this, you can go back to Windhelm to complete the quest.
Enter the chamber by stepping inside the doorway in the west side. A short flight of stairs will take you to the first room. The room is filled with banners of the Dark Brotherhood. Then, turn around the corner to find the doorway to the west. Once you are inside, you will notice that a long stone table is located in front of a long room. This table contains a copy of the Night Mother’s Truth. The next room contains a throne and a few other items.
How to kill Lurbuk
If you are a new member of the Dark Brotherhood, you may be wondering how to kill Lurbuk. Lurbuk is an Orsimer bard who can be found in the Moorside Inn in Morthal. He graduated from the Bards College of Solitude, and is widely regarded as the worst bard in Skyrim. Nazir even makes fun of him while talking about his infamous bride, Astrid. Despite this reputation, killing Lurbuk is actually a very difficult task, since he is not a Dragonborn and will instead impose a bounty on you, if you fail to kill him.
Astrid will instruct you to go to the Dark Brotherhood’s headquarters by giving you a password and a map. When you arrive, you will receive a key and a password to an abandoned shack that is located in the swamp southeast of Solitude. When you are able to enter the shack, you can kill Lurbuk. It takes approximately ten minutes to complete this quest, and you will receive the key and password to the Dark Brotherhood’s HQ.
