Do the Artifact levels in Destiny 2 matter? Apparently they do, but do they have any real effect? The answer depends on what you consider important, but it is generally better to grind powerful and pinnacle engrams until you reach 960. This is especially true for Destiny 2’s new Flawless Passages, which drop powerful Adept weapons. It is also important to note that Matchmaking is win-based.

960 is the minimum level
Unlike the Crucible, where the maximum level is five thousand, Destiny 2 trials have a new minimum light level of 960. If you are using artifacts, this doesn’t matter, but gear will. You can only equip pinnacle gear with a light level of 960 or higher. To reach this level, you must visit Saint-14 in the Tower Hanger and visit his lab. Then, he will check your light level.
Getting 960 Light Level is the first step in the Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris. At this level, you can complete the mode flawlessly. Then, you can visit The Lighthouse, a unique hub area in the game. In addition to giving you access to the Trials, it will also grant you a chest that contains Ascendant Shards, Adept weapon mods, and high-stat Trials armor.
Flawless Passages drop Adept weapons
Players who complete seven Trials games without losing will achieve the feat of Flawless, and that entitles them to the unique hub area called the Lighthouse, which gives away a variety of unique rewards. For instance, a chest in the Lighthouse can give a player an Adept weapon mod and a high-stat Trials armor. In addition, a player can receive a suite of emblems, such as a Trials-themed set of armor glow emblems.
Players who focus on general rewards in the Trials of Osiris can simply play the game and earn loot, but if they’re after Adept weapons, they need to unlock a Flawless Passage. While this is a simple task, it takes quite some time, so if you’re going to do more than one of these quests in a week, it’s a good idea to schedule your runs as closely as possible.
Matchmaking is win-based
The Destiny 2 Trials community has a mixed reaction to the changes introduced this weekend, with some expressing their disappointment. The Saint-14 reputation system has been overhauled and Bungie has changed the matchmaking pool. However, the community has been generally positive about the changes made during Season 15 so far. A majority of players have been able to reach the lighthouse for the first time. That being said, some people have expressed disappointment with the changes, which were made in the matchmaking pool.
With the changes, Destiny 2’s matchmaking will be win-based again. Flawless players will be placed in a separate matchmaking pool. This means that players will no longer get matched with people who don’t own the same class. But, it’s still unclear how these changes will affect Destiny 2’s PVP mode. This is a work in progress, and Bungie will keep tweaking things to improve it.
Artifacts affect power level
Players are battling over whether Artifacts affect power level in Destiny 2. PvP players have pushed back against the idea of making Artifacts affect power level, saying that it makes the Trials more about external grinding than skill. However, they should know that minor differences can affect results. Using a powerful Artifact in a 1v1 firefight can make the difference between winning and losing.
If you’ve played Destiny and have never been a pro at PvP, this might be the time to give Artifacts a try. In Destiny 2, players can use Artifacts to increase their power levels, allowing them to deal more damage than the average player. However, players should remember that these power increases are temporary and reset at the end of each season. Until this change is made, players can still grind the PvE content.
