Getting to Mohgwyn Palace
To get to Mohgwyn Palace in the Consecrated Snowfields, first travel to the Site of Grace. From the Site of Grace, travel northward, to the northwest. After you get to Mohgwyn Palace, you’ll need to travel to the Inner Consecrated Snowfields. From here, you’ll need to find a portal covered in blood. Be prepared to fight Sanguine Noble as you approach the portal. Once you’ve passed through, you’ll enter a dark place. After that, you’ll have to fight Behemoth Skeletons, which you will have to defeat.
You’ll need to get a Pureblood Knight’s Medal to get to Mohgwyn. If you don’t have this yet, you can do it later in the game by returning to White-Faced Varre. The questline rewards the player with an achievement, trophy, and Remembrance. Additionally, when you get the Pureblood Knight’s Medal, you’ll be teleported to Mohgwyn Palace.
Finding Mohg
One of the most difficult bosses in Elden Ring is Mohg, the Lord of Blood. This demi-god is a hard fight and you must have certain items to defeat him. You can find Mohg in the Mohgwyn Palace, an underground temple located under the Siofra River. To enter, you need to go west from the Consecrated Snowfield through a portal.
Once you get to the second phase, you will want to move away from the area where Mohg is attacking. Unlike Mohg’s first phase, he can still bleed while his tears are active. If you are unsuccessful in your attack, you can use a nearby staircase to hide in. It is best not to stay in one spot for more than a few minutes. You will want to move to another spot so you can take the proper moves.
Defeating Mohg
The first phase of Defeating Mohg – The Elder Ring – is a quick and relatively easy fight, but the second phase is much harder and requires more patience. The first phase of the fight requires the player to heal the elden ring and keep Mohg under sixty percent health. When this is the case, it is time to use the Flask of Wondrous Physick to negate the ritual. Then, you can use the Flask of Wondrous Physick and Purifying Crystal Tear to deal massive damage to Mohg.
If you want to make it easier for yourself, use a shackle on Mohg. Blood Claw attacks deal significant damage, and can even be used to combo into a trident attack. You can also use a Bleed weapon or an Ash Summon. Damage-focused accessories like shields and hammers are also useful. If you’re using a shield, you should make sure to have some stamina to survive phase two.
Avoiding his attacks
One of the most important tips in the fight against Mogh is to avoid his attacks as much as possible. If you’re having trouble beating him, you can try avoiding his trident attack or using ranged spells. You can also use Mogh’s Shackle to finish the fight quickly. Using this item is extremely helpful in this case, as it is useful in many situations.
Getting the right skills is essential in this fight. In particular, you can use Margit’s Shackle to throw Daggers repeatedly at his long range. To use this item, you must level up Margit. You can use the Shackle twice before the second boss phase, and you can land a hit with this spell. You can also use the Shackle on him with a Stick Leap attack. Using it repeatedly will make the fight easier.
Preparing for a fight with him
If you’re going to be fighting the Lord of Blood, you need to prepare properly. Having 3 Nihil Rings around your character will help you deal massive damage to him, as well as heal you when you’re not attacking. If you’re running low on blood, you’ll need to use Purifying Crystal Tears combined with a Wondrous Physick Flask. This will allow you to survive the attacks, though you’ll have to manage the blood rain. You’ll also want to find an Elden Ring directory, as it has additional guides to prepare you for this fight.
First, get prepared for Mohg’s Blood Flame. This demon’s attack is very powerful and fills the arena with the color of blood. You should be prepared to roll or run towards it as soon as he gets airborne. You can also avoid his trident sweeps by rolling towards him. Remember that this boss has several moves that can be extremely effective against you.
